There's so many of us,
yet we feel so few.
Two million tides of water,
Just one tsunami doesn't feel
like that much when we're
not intertwined with it.
Dark and darker
And pale and paler,
A mix of different
sea-shells
Each one of us, bubbles,
in the sea foam.
We express just one of us,
we express the story of so many of us,
it hurts not being alone because we all share this
tragedy, but we aren't really alone
in the healing, either.
Resistance is community.
Community is resiliency.
