My muscles remember how to
Love you
More than they remember how to relax,
Stuck in a web of
Veins, that bones peak out of
And through, and around
Like little nerves or little
Hairs on the back of someone's neck,
Showing in their eyes and their
Slightly agape mouths and their pony-tails.
You were mine to cherish
And I yours to serve, I'd do
Anything for you,
My heart would
Break down for you, it would
Skip beats for you, it would
Cry out when I was around you,
You made me feel things i'd forgotten,
Lost in loneliness and numbness long before
And just before
I met you.
