ALMOST THREE WEEKS have passed since filming began. And for two of those weeks, Camille and Jack have been glued to each other's sides. Even when Jack didn't need to be on set, he'd be there just so he could keep Camille company while she worked. Everyone on set knew how inseparable they've become and they learned to just adapt to it. If someone were to invite Jack to hang out, they also needed to invite Camille and vice versa. Every time Camille wasn't needed on set, she'd either be in Jack's trailer or the two of them would bother Jenna or Mason in theirs.

In the past two weeks they've been friends, Jack was able to learn a lot about Camille. He was even able to appreciate the little things about her that made her so captivating and what drew him to her in the first place. She always gets so excited about watching New Girl with him even though she's seen the entire series countless of times before. She gets genuinely ecstatic to hear Jack's thoughts on her favorite show like a child at an amusement park for the first time. And when he talks, she really listens. As if her brain made separate room for the things Jack says.

And when Jack suggests a show or movie to watch, she gets so excited simply because he was the one to pick it out. If they're watching a movie — whether or not they've already seen it — they'd talk about it afterwards and Jack loved the way her eyes lit up when she discussed the cinematography of the film. Whether they just spend their time conversing or watching a show or movie, there was never a dull moment between the two. As simple as their hangouts were, it relaxed both of them and gave them something to look forward to.

Right now, it was just Jack in Mason's trailer with Mason's dog, Iggy. Camille accompanied Matt and Tyler to a meeting so Jack couldn't hang out with her. But that didn't stop him from texting her. She texted him back whenever she could during the meeting. The only reason why Jack and Mason and a few of the other cast members were on set was so they could do wardrobe fitting for their halloween costumes for the movie.

Jack was seated on the couch of Mason's trailer with his phone in his hand. He fidgeted with the fingers of his free hand as he watched the three dots in the text bubble from Camille's side of the conversation. Once the message sent and Jack read it, he stopped fidgeting and chuckled. Camille made a joke and as he always does, Jack laughed. He laughs at all her jokes; she might just be the funniest person he's ever met.

His chuckle caught Mason's attention who was sitting next to him with the script in his hands. He closed the booklet and set it down next to him as he glared at the younger boy beside him. Jack's eyes never left his phone and his smile didn't leave either. "Who are you talking to?" Mason crossed his arms. He knew exactly who he was talking to.

"Hm?" Jack turned his head to look at Mason. He glanced at his phone screen before looking back at his friend. "Oh, just Camille."

"Mm." Mason hummed. "Just Camille?"

Jack slowly nodded his head in confusion, "Yeah. Why?"

Mason shook his head, "Oh, no reason. It's just, you've been talking to her a lot."

For the first time in several minutes, Jack put down his phone. "I mean, yeah, we're friends. We're also the same age, so we just kinda, like, understand and relate with each other more."

"Okay, and that's it?"

Jack's eyebrows knitted together in confusion. What was Mason trying to say? "Why are you asking me these questions?"

"No reason." He lied to him. "It's just something I've noticed since filming began. You guys are literally always with each other or talking to each other. Just an observation."

Mason was honestly getting a little sick of them. It was definitely premature of him to think like that since Jack and Camille have only known each other for a couple weeks, but he just couldn't help it. They act so much like a couple, he wanted to throw up all over the place. He was watching two teenagers fall in love and Jack and Camille don't even know it.

"Do you... wanna hang out more? Is that why you're asking me this?" Jack asked with uncertainty.

"Nah, man, I think we hang out enough." Mason joked, referring to all the times Jack has shown up at his trailer. He just decided to straight up ask him, "Do you like Cami?"

Another chuckle escaped Jack's lips as his pale cheeks transitioned into a scarlet color. "I mean, yeah, 'cause we're friends. She's really nice and funny, so yeah, I like her."

Mason scoffed at his answer, "C'mon, you know that's not what I meant. Look at you! You're blushing."

"Don't you think it's a little too early for me to have a crush on her?"

"Well, do you?" Mason questioned.

Jack shrugged. "I don't know. I- I feel like I can't go a day without talking to her. And every time I'm with her, I'm smiling or laughing. I honestly can't believe I've gone 17 years without her in my life." He admitted.

Mason started laughing. "Dude! You do have a crush on Cami!"

"No!" Jack denied. "I was just describing her like any good friend would."

"Okay, bud." Mason grinned at him, covering his mouth to stop himself from laughing even more.

"Please don't tell Jenna about this." Jack muttered as he covered his face with his hands. "Or anybody else." His voice was slightly muffled by his hands and Mason stopped trying to refrain himself from laughing.

Did he actually have a crush on Camille? No. There was no way he did. They practically just met. Camille was just only the best person he's ever met in his life. But, that doesn't necessarily mean he has a crush on her though. Right?
