"Charlie babe wake up" matthew whispers quietly. "Mmm 5 more minutes" I mumble. "I got breakfast and coffee" he whispers.

I sit up and he chuckles "coffee?" I ask. He nods holding a coffee "yes babe coffee" he says. "I love you" I reply kissing his cheek. He smiles "I love you too" he replies.

He lets me get up properly and we move to my living room where taryn is with her coffee and breakfast. "Thanks bro" she says. "You're welcome" he says back. "Thank you baby" I say sitting in the corner.

Our eyes meet and he winks at me causing my face to turn pink "welcome my love" he says resting his hand on my knee. "This is good hangover food" taryn says.

Nodding I dig into the breakfast burritos from taco bell. "It is" I agree. Matthew smiles and eats his silently even tho he didn't drink last night he still wants to enjoy a breakfast burrito.

We finish eating breakfast and wait for our hangovers to go away and matthew has the day off so the three of us decide to go shopping then for lunch. "Are you sure you wanna come?" I ask matthew again.

"Yes babe I'm sure" he answers again. "Ok if you say sooo" I reply as we're leaving. While his arm swings he grabs my hand "I wanna spoil two of my favourite women" he says.

Taryn looks behind her at us with raised eyebrows "you're a changed man" she jokes. He rolls his eyes "I'm just happy" he says. "Almost 4 months" I say. "You're right" he says.

He kisses the back of my hand and before we're out the door we drop each others hands but I feel his hand on my lower back protectively. "I dont see anyone" taryn says just so we can hear. His arm moves to around my waist as we get closer to his car.

Once I'm buckled in he leans in pecking my lips before going around to his side. "Cuties" taryn says from the back. "I love him" I reply. He gets in and rests his hand on my leg after he starts driving.

Shopping ends up being fun, we end up with a couple bags each from each store we go to and matthew happily carries them all. Now we're getting something to eat since we're all hungry. "I need to use the ladies room" I say standing up.

Matthew frowns looking up at me and i giggle leaning down and pecking his lips "I'll be back" i whisper. "I'll miss you" he whispers back. "I'll miss you too" I whisper back blushing.

I leave the table going to the bathroom.

Matty's point of view

"I wanna ask her to marry me" I tell taryn as soon as Charlie is out of ear shot. She smiles "yeah? Like when?" She asks. "I know it's cheesy but valentines day" I answer.

She nods slowly "okay that's like 3 weeks from now? Have you asked her dad? If not do it" she asks. "I haven't" I reply. "Call him" she says. "Like now?" I ask. "Yeah why not" she says.

I nervously dial her dads number and he answers a few rings later. "Hey matthew" he greets. "Hey I uh you're probably wondering why I'm calling" I start. "I am" he says. "I know Charlotte and I have only been together for a few months" I starts.
