8 weeks along

"Are you ok charlie?" Olivia asks popping her head into the bathroom. "Yeah" I answer wiping my face. "You sure? I've noticed you've been getting sick a lot recently" she asks.

Since I'm telling matthew later today I might as well tell her. I rest my hand on her shoulder "I'm pregnant, it's morning sickness" I tell her. "Really?" She asks surprised. I nod "yes" i answer. "Matthew must be so excited" she says.

I sigh "he doesn't know yet" I reply. She frowns "really? When did you find out?" She asks. "A couple days after he left for the roadie" I answer.

Olivia shakes her head "you had the chance to tell him in New York" she says. "I know but I want time together to process it and well truthfully I've needed time to process it" I reply.

We go back to the living room where madeline and ava are. Penelope is in Paris doing photoshoots again. She's probably the busiest person we know. "You doing ok char?" Ava asks. Madeline and olivia both look at me knowingly. "Yes I'm fine" I say.

My phone starts ringing before she can ask if I'm sure. "Hey babe" i answer Matthew's facetime call. "Hows my girl?" He asks. I smile "I'm good, you excited to come home later?" I ask. "Yes" he answers.

"I miss you" I say. He frowns "I miss you too" he replies. "How does finding our own place sound when you get back?" I ask. His eyes brighten and he nods "it sounds perfect" he says. The girls beside me staying quiet while we talk.

He smiles "I love you" he says. I smile "I love you too" I reply. "You've got this babe" I add. "Thank you love, I'll see you as soon as I get back" he says. "See you" I reply before we hangup.

I look at the girls "ava I'm pregnant there now all three of you know" I say. "You are?" She asks. I nod smiling "yeah I'm 8 weeks and I still haven't figured out how im going to tell him" I say. "He doesn't know?" She asks.

"That's what I said!" Olivia and madeline say at the same time. "I wanted to process it" I reply. "So what have you thought of so far?" Madeline asks. "Just showing him a test" I answer.

They help me figure out how to tell him and right before the game starts we decide on one idea. "Do you think he'll cry?" Madeline asks. I shrug "no idea maybe" I answer. "I think he will" ava says. "Me too" Olivia adds.

We watch the game and matt puts everything into this game since they're fighting to keep where they are in the standings.

Panthers win 5-0 with matt getting 2 goals and 3 assists. "You must be proud" Madeline says. "I sure am" I reply watching his post game interview. "So matthew you're going home now for a 5 game homestead what are you looking forward to?" Someone asks.

"Just being home and spending time with my fiance" he answers. They ask more questions about me and about hockey. About 5 minutes after the interview is done he texts me.
