Hogwarts is My Home (A Harry Potter Fanfiction), Part 2/7

Chapter 12

I sleep for the rest of the day.  It's all I can do now.  I wake when people speak, and a cat meows.  I see from my frozen point of view that Mrs. Norris is awake, and so is Nearly Headless Nick!  Justin is waking up now.  Madam Pomfrey is handing out the Mandrake Draught!  Give some to me!  Hermione wakes up next, then Colin Creevey.  She comes over to me.  I get a tingling feeling, and then I move my hand.  I jump up and fall over again.  That's what I get for laying down for months and months.  When I regain my balance, Emma and Penelope are up too.

"I'm so glad you all are okay!  The monster is done for, and there's a feast in the Great Hall waiting for you!" Madam Pomfrey says cheerfully.  FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!  We all rush down the stairs and stop outside the closed doors.

"Let's surprise them, guys," Justin says.  "Sneak in on the count of three.  One, two, three!"  We open the doors and walk in.  The first person to be attacked is Hermione, by Ron and Harry.  Penelope is attacked by her friends, and she waves at an astonished Percy Weasley.  SHALALALALALA MY OH MY he attacks her too.  Colin Creevey is attacked by a couple of first year Gryffindors, and Nearly Headless Nick is welcomed back.  Emma is attacked by Kyara and Audrey, who also attack me.  Their screams of ASHLYN awaken my fellow Slytherins.  I get tackled from behind and turn around to see Grier and Ash.

"Hey guys!  It's so good to respond to you!  Yes, I could hear everything," I say.  Kyara looks at me.  'We're dating now,' she mouths.  EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!  Brett and Audrey are dating too.  Noah, Alex, and Draco are walking up to us now, but they're cut off by Max, Jade, and Anna.  Pansy Parkinson is looking at me like I'm something nasty she found on the bottom of her shoe.  Noah and Draco both hug me, and Alex stands there awkwardly, he's not a hugging person.

"Hi," he says.

"Hi."  He then goes over and hugs Kyara.  ASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOPZXCVBNM!  Spam.  We go to our respective House tables.  Sitting at the High Table is no less than Headmaster neé Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore!

This was the craziest Hogwarts feast I had ever been at!  Everyone was in their pajamas, and it lasted all night.  Hagrid showed up at half past three from Azkaban.  Sadly, Harry and Ron got 400 points for Gryffindor and won the House Cup.  One of the best parts was that McGonagall announced that exams had been cancelled!  Us second years that were Petrified got to pick our subjects for next year, and I found out I would be in Care of Magical Creatures with almost all of my friends, except for Grier.  I would be in choir with Emma, Kyara, Anna, and Max!  And Lockhart had to go to St. Mungo's hospital to get his memory back, we had all heard the story of what happened in the Chamber of Secrets.

For the rest of term, Defense Against the Dark Arts classes had been cancelled.  Draco's father had been sacked as school governor, which was a blow to Draco.  I would also be staying with Snape over summer, since he is my legal guardian.  Yikes.  This is going to be an interesting summer.

On the Hogwarts Express on the way home, I got a compartment with the 'sisters', as we had begun to call ourselves.  We added two other girls while I was Petrified, both Ravenclaws in our year named Isabella Johnson and Mia Robinson.  We all talked and fangirled over relationships, we compared our electives (I am also taking Care of Magical Creatures with Isabella), and we got all our phone numbers and addresses for contacting each other over the summer.

As we exit the train, I meet a couple of my friends'' families.  Kyara has a younger sister that will be starting at Hogwarts in our fourth year, her name is McKenna.  Anna has an older brother that is a Gryffindor fourth year, named Korbyn, and a baby brother named Grady.  Audrey has two younger brothers, Jacob and Daniel.  Isabella has a younger brother, Marcos.  Ash has a younger sister, Shelby.  Max has a younger brother, Spencer.  Jade has two younger brothers, one in his first year in Gryffindor (Matthew) and the other starting in two years (Andrew).  Grier has one older sister in Hufflepuff, Sydney, and two younger twin brothers, Harrison and Grant who are also starting in two years.

I find Snape after saying goodbye to everyone, and we depart from the train station.  I can't wait to go back to Hogwarts next year, although I don't want to spend it all Petrified.
