Opening my eyes, I was under the blanket and laying on the small couch. I thought...I don't know. Maybe I actually fell asleep on this couch before Asher came out. Pushing the blanket back, I got off the couch and headed to the bathroom. Doing my business, I walked back to the living room and saw Asher sitting up on the couch.
"Morning" I said
"Morning. How'd you sleep" He asked
"Fine.. Did I fall asleep before you came out last night?" I asked
"No, you fell asleep during the movie and I moved you to the little couch" He nodded
"Oh. Sorry" I replied
"Stop saying sorry, it's not your fault" He replied
"...What's not my fault" I said slowly
"Everything with Leo" He said and looked over at me
I sighed and walked around the couch to sit next to him.
"So I didn't dream that whole conversation last night?" I asked looking at my hands
"No... Does Emily know" I nodded "Does Grayson know?"
"I don't think so. I mean my dad doesn't like him. Those two don't like him. My therapist doesn't even like him and she had me practice breaking up with him" I said
"You still see a therapist?" He asked softly, I nodded
"I started going back a month and a half ago" I replied
I don't want to look at him. Mostly because I don't want to see the smirk that's probably glued to his face right now. He probably thinks this is funny, I get a boyfriend and this happens.
"So, when are you breaking up with him?" Asher asked
"Today.. I might have Grayson and Emily come. In case something happens" I said
"Wait.. Really. Do you actually think he'd try something" Asher asked and I looked at him
He actually looks concerned. That's a new one from him. Normally he has a smug look on his face and laughs at whatever I say.
"Well... Nevermind" I said
"Erin, what were you going to say" Asher asked
"He threw me against their garage last night. Then pushed my head back. That's how I got the bruises on my arm and face. Probably one on my back too" I said quietly
"Can I see?" He asked
"No" I said quickly "I'll have Emily look later"
He nodded and we sat in silence. Eventually we heard foot steps and both Grayson and Emily were coming down the stairs. The both joined us on the couch and Emily was next to me while Grayson was next to Asher.
"Well you two didn't kill each other. How'd you guys sleep" Grayson said
"Fine" We both replied
"So, have you set a time for today?" Emily asked
"A time for what?" Grayson asked
"Someone is breaking up with her boyfriend" Asher said
"You know?" Emily asked
"We talked last night..And this morning" I said
"You're actually going to break up with him?" Grayson asked, I nodded "Good"
"Do they know what he did last night" Asher said
"No, and it's fine. I can handle it" I said
"Yeah right" He muttered
