Tribe name: TimeWings

Tribe status: semi-open (you cannot make one without my permission)

Physical description: TimeWings appear more like machine than living organism, with scales made of metal, smoke billowing from their scales when they move, and five clocks spread about their bodies:

One, on their heart, which corresponds to when their cogwheels and gears will stop working (takes about a hundred years on average, but this varies, counts backward). Two, on their right forearm, which tells the time (counts forward). Three, on the back of their neck, which tells when a disaster in their life will happen (counts backward). Four, on their left forearm, which tells when their cogs will need to be polished (counts backward, and if this doesn't happen, they will stop working, and for lack of a better phrase, malfunction, and die. Gets reset each time). Five, on the base of their tails, which tells when the best part of their life will happen. (All analog clocks, and if you can't read those, go fix yourself).

TimeWings don't blink, because they don't possess eyelids; they don't sneeze, cough, or get runny noses, because they don't get sick; they don't yawn because they don't tire, just need more oil; they don't sleep because they don't need energy, just oil; they don't eat because they don't need it; they don't drink because if they did, they would rust, they just need oil.

They do have emotions because they can talk and process information, they can make facial expressions, and they can walk and move like any other dragon, and obviously fly. They do grow and they do start as baby dragonets.

Under their bellies, there is a long opening sealed shut with screws that can be unscrewed so that their parts can be oiled (they are powered off for this, of course).

Appearance 2: TimeWings are usually round and stoutly built (haha, built, get it?) with spinning gears poking out of a slit on their backs. They also have semicircle gears on the tips of their tails, forming an irregular shape. They have round eyes that turn into lights at night and long tails. They have short and round faces, giving them a sort of childish, cute look.

They also have horns that are straight (like NightWing horns), with gears poking out, and chunks of the gears cut out of the sides. Their wings look like normal dragon wings. Their scale patterns are somewhat mismatched and are random shapes. Their faces are also shaped similarly to a NightWing (It is unknown why Swoop did this).

They have strange accents.

Coloring: TimeWings can be bronze, copper, gold, and rarely black or silver

Abilities: TimeWings cannot die, as they are technically not living (explained later). Though, they can be dented and damaged beyond repair. They are adamant, although, they can be dented and damaged beyond repair. They do have a breath weapon, but it is only steam; sometimes, they breathe sparks with it, (this is quite rare). At night, their eyes turn into fog lights, making them able to see.

Weaknesses: Their only weakness, basically, is just being taken apart and not being functional anymore

Behavior/Society: TimeWings are very smart, and are usually making the right decision, letting their community have minimal problems. Murder and stealing are very rare, and if this does occur, the behavior is eliminated immediately. Every dragon in the community knows every other dragon, so they are very close.

History/Lore:

The TimeWings' creators were a very smart SkyWing who was obsessed with creation and machinery, called Swoop, and his best friend, a SandWing animus called Cactus. The two worked together, day and night, trying to build a creation that would finally turn heads and make them both rich and famous.

So, Swoop tried to create a tiny metal sculpture, make tiny gears and put wings on it. Then, he had Cactus enchant it. The first few times, it didn't go so well. The tiny mechanical dragons rebelled against them and tried to run off.

Swoop fixed the enchantment and his design.

After the mechanic and the magician finalized their design, they activated the first TimeWing and put it on an island miles off of Pyrrhia. Cactus duplicated the TimeWing about ten times but made the dragons different each time. They let the dragons try to form their own society and helped them when they needed it.

Cactus managed to convince Swoop to not inform anyone of their experiment and keep it a secret, and he enchanted the island so that no dragon from Pyrrhia except them would be able to see it.

Queen: They don't have one. Instead, they have Regulators, which are Swoop and Cactus themselves. They also have a council, which is made up of the smartest TimeWings, and review decisions that Swoop and Cactus have put in for their society.

Naming system: TimeWing names don't really have a pattern, they just have names that are mechanical-related (stuff like Creak, Rust, Gear, etc.)

Continent: TimeWings live on an island off of Pyrrhia.

Habitat: Anywhere, basically.

Fighting Skills: TimeWings don't fight much, they just have the strength to resist constant beating, as they will only sustain minor dents

Swimming Skills: TimeWings cannot swim

Flying Skills: TimeWings are quite heavy for dragons, but they do have the ability to fly. They cannot do flips in the air like many other dragons but can sustain a glide for hours on end, as they do not tire.

Intelligence: TimeWings often have quite high intelligence, and are very well-informed and book-smart about what goes on in their world.

Hybrids: TimeWings do not have the ability to reproduce with living dragons.

Animus Dragons: There are no animus TimeWings.
