The last thing Blake Dixon thought would change her life was the dead walking. Her uncle Merle getting arrested, her dad winning the lottery, or even her mother walking back into her life after 15 years were more likely on her list then the apocalypse. She had been surviving since she was born, her life had never been easy and now it seemed everyone else was getting a taste. Now she has to figure out how to survive with a bunch of strangers who she isn't quite sure really like her or her dad. But in order to survive this group of people will need to figure out how to fight for their lives and for each other. Otherwise they might as well be counting down their days and waiting for the end.

Not sure if this is good or not, just felt not many people had this idea and I've wanted to expand on ideas I've had stuck in my head.
