It was finally here. The day that would define what my purpose in this life was, had finally arrived.

Jisoo noona had already returned from Shanghai to try and protect her position from me. She seems pretty confident, and since she is a very strategic person, her having hope with so much confidence meant she had a plan up her sleeves. So I needed to move fast to hit hard.

It breaks my heart to do this against my own sister, who had been nothing short of a support to me all my life. She was the only one who didn't judge me for being my father's son, and loved me like a mother.

But, I've chosen a path and even though it means betraying my own sister, I have to see what's at the end of this path.

Yesterday, I had met with Lisa as usual, so we talked and I couldn't help but feel like what I was doing and the path that I've chosen was the right path.

She seemed simple and free, so I didn't want to bring up the matter of the file that was sent to me by an unknown sender, having her pictures in them.

But I just had to show her the file because I didn't want any secret between us, but to my surprise she wasn't at all fazed.

"Lisa, do you know what this is? If the police gets their hands on this, they could restart the investigation of your sister's accident," I said quietly.

I was deeply concerned about her, but she didn't answer me. She just sat there and stared blankly at the pictures on her laps.

"I had to do some digging into your past to find out who could be trying to use this against you, and found out that your arrest at the Caribbean was not your first time. Lisa, please tell me what happened? How were you caught on camera burning your sister's car with her inside?" I asked eagerly, now desperate to get a reply, any reply at all would do.

"And now you know my secret, what are you planning to do with your new found knowledge?" She questioned coldly, finally responding.

Why is it so hard to she acting all cold and hateful, it's not like her at all. And why would she of all people think I would use this against her?

Is she really like everyone else? Like Jungkook? Was I wrong about her after all?

I couldn't say anything, I froze because I thought she of all people should know by now, how it feels to be dimmed what you're not.

"Ah! I get it now. With your claim for the position of CEO of Shanghai Group's board meeting coming up soon, you needed to get me on your side, right? Your sister already asked but I told her I was going to be on the sidelines, so, must have heard of it and decided to look for something to blackmail me with, right?" She asked accusingly.

No, this isn't Lisa at all. Something was wrong, because she isn't one to make such assumptions. There must be something she's trying to hide.

"Okay. Fine, I'll do it. I'll vote in your favor. I know Jisoo unnie anyway, her nature would only let her keep people who she can use around her. Which is why my friendship with her was bound to end soon anyway, so I'll help you. But in return you'll have to keep my secret." she proposed casually.

"Lisa stop! How could you even think that I would stoop that low when it comes to you? I got these pictures from an unknown sender, so I had to do some investigations to find out who wants to harm you with this. I'm telling you this, showing you all of this because I needed you to know and be careful. Yura's death was planned and pinned on you strategically, and if we had not been careful you would have taken the fall for it. I only worried about you...everything I do, is all for you." I replied feeling upset and sad that the one person I thought trusted me, didn't.
