Chapter 7-Loving you hurts like hell

~Sonic's POV~

While i was laying next to Shadow and cloud gazing i was thinking why is it whenever Shadow is around me i feel all warm inside? like just seeing he's face makes me smile,i honestly just feel so happy when he's around yeah i know he's straight but i can't help but feel like this he just makes me feel complete in a way,i'm not gonna lie i'm in love with him

Shadow"Hey Sonic can ask you something?"

Sonic"Y-Yeah?"

Shadow"When do you know when your in love with someone?"

Sonic"Well i guess it's when the person you like means the world to you when you feel like you would die for them...but why do you ask? Are you in love with someone?"

Shadow then sits up straight and looks down at me before looking back up at the sky and smiling

Shadow"Yeah i think i am or i don't know i've never felt this way about someone honestly i've never been in love with someone before,sure i've dated a lot of girls who meant a lot to me but this person he- i mean she just makes my feel complete you know?"

Sonic"Yeah i know exactly what you mean anyway who's the luckily girl who y-your in love with?"

Honestly it hurts to see the person you love being in love someone else i'm holding back so many tears right now and i don't even know why i guess it's because i've been in love with him for a long and i'm only realising my true feelings now

Shadow"Oh he- she! I mean she is an old childhood friend of mine"

Sonic"What's she like?"

Shadow"Well she's really pretty,kind hearted and she just really amazing"

Sonic"Oh s-sounds like you really love her huh?"

Shadow"Yeah i do"

*Sigh* honestly i guess that's what happens when you fall for straight guy you get your heart broken i know he only said that he's in love with a girl but  for some reason i just knowing the fact that i'll never have a chance to be with the person who i love with my whole heart and soul it hurts like hell
