Newt was in the Deadheads, eyes watery and red from crying all day. Alby was dead, one of his best mates...
Hank was next to him, trying to grasp for words. His eyes were watery too, and his face was streaked with tears. "Um, Newt," Hank said hesitantly, "I know this might be a bad time, but I found this..." He held out a letter, which was addressed to Newt. Newt took it and unfolded it, his heart seeking out for that one bit of comfort the letter contained.
