⚠️ALL CONSENTUAL⚠️

Kaveh's POV:

Alhaitham bringing home drinks and cooking dinner for us... Am i forgetting a special occasion or something? I thought to myself as i closed the door behind me, taking my shoes off.

"What do we have here?" I teased him a little.

"Sit down." He said firmly.

I was used to him being like this all the time but what can i say, it did bore me after sometime. I wish he would just act a bit more friendly.

I didn't realize that i was starting at him until he spoke.

"Beer or Wine?"

"Beer." I said as he handed a can of cold beer over and took a seat next to me.

"How was your day?" I tried striking up a conversation not expecting much.

"Tiring." He said looking down.

It was just silence and awkwardness after that.

After we were done eating i helped him with the dishes and we plopped back onto the couch.

Opening another can of beer and getting even more bored, i suddenly remembered something once a soothsayer told me. "I heard that if you tie two peoples wrists with a white ribbon those people can enter each other's dreams."

What a nice idea...

Getting up, i placed the beer on the table. "Alhaitham where is the sewing box?"

"What do you need that for?" He said looking at me confused. Probably because i sucked at sewing. "Top shelf." He added.

Grabbing the box, i opened it to reveal all types of ribbons and threads. Every color except white... What does it matter anyway i thought as i grabbed the red ribbon and cut a piece of it.

Going back to Alhaitham, i sat next to him again and began explaining;

"Alright so I've heard from a soothsayer that-"

He sighed "Do you seriously believe everything those people say?" He said, raising an eyebrow unimpressed.

"Hey just listen. So they told me that two people could enter each other's dreams if they were tied together by a white ribbon..."

"Then why do you have a red one?"

"It doesn't matter now does it, ribbon is ribbon." I said tying one end to my wrist. "Here" I reached out for his wrist.

"This is so stupid." He sighed.

"You are stupid." Is what i really wanted to say but, i decided to stay silent to avoid getting into an argument again.

"All done!" I said happily. Grabbing the beer i took another sip.

"Now what?" He said looking at the tied ribbon.

"We sleep." I said getting comfortable on the couch.

He looked dumbfounded but somehow didn't reject.

Hoping it would work, i too closed my eyes.

After what felt like an eternity, i woke up... Woke up in Another House?! Holy shit it worked. I thought to myself as i got up, looking around.

It was a one story, small but lively house. Near the forest with a lot of sunlight shining through.

"Alhaitham?" I called out.

No answer...

"Alhaitham!?" I called out as i opened a door which led to a bedroom...

A smirk appeared on my face as i looked over at the bed where Alhaitham way laying....Tied up...In uh- Red Ribbons?
