It had been 2 weeks since their beach fun, Yuki wished it didn't end but she can't be selfish with her pro hero boyfriend but she only wishes he wasn't so busy as he had been for the past 2 weeks. She was brought back to reality by the door bell ringing. She quickly got up to answer it.
"Hi Mrs Todoroki" Yuki smiled as she opened the door, revealing Rei.
"Hi Yuki mind if I come in" Rei walked in carrying a few bags on her left and right hand
"Not a problem"
"I brought soba i thought I'd share a meal with you and Shoto" she lifted the bag on her right hand
"oh that's lovely Mrs Todoroki, I'd text him that you are here" Yuki helped her with one of the bags "let me help you with that"
"You are such a sweetheart"
Yuki helped Rei unpack the lunch she made for her and Shoto. She set it on the kitchen counter.
After an hour thirty minutes Rei and Yuki decided to eat and pack the leftover for Shoto when he came back.
Rei sat on the sofa switching on the television with Yuki sitting beside her checking her phone.
Rei noticed Yuki still looking at her text to Shoto which he hasn't responded to, Yuki placed her phone faced down on her lap after giving up deciding to watch television with Rei.
1:50AM
Rei looked up from patting Yuki softly as she sleeps when she heard the door unlocked
"Mum what are you doing here" Shoto looked surprised to see his mother who was seated on the sofa gently patting sleeping Yuki.
"shhhh Yuki is sleeping" she whispered as she placed her finger on her lips.
"Sorry. What are you doing here" he whispered as well.
"I was here to surprise you and Yuki"
"Did you tell her not to text" he looked at his phone to see a text and 3 missed calls.
"She did, where were you?"
"I was out for an alumni reunion" he took off his coat.
"Why wasn't Yuki aware?"
"Because I found out today" he hung his coat on the coat hanger at the end of the hallway from the door.
"And you couldn't call Yuki was worried even though she tried not to let it show i knew"
"I'm so sorry I didn't think of it" he froze as he approached where his mother and Yuki were.
"I'm not the one you should apologize to, do it when she wakes up" she stared up at her son who was now in front of her.
