Time Travel

         This takes place before The Avengers time travel.

James stood in shock. "What do you mean 'We're about to travel back in time'?" Natasha knelt down to pick up her Time Travel Suit. "Just exactly that, James. Please behave. Your father and I will be back, I promise. Please watch over Natalee, you know where everything is." 

     James continued to follow his mother around like a 4-year old. Natasha opened the door, kissed her son goodbye, and left. James got done locking the door when he received a text message. It's from his mother. Don't answer the door for ANYBODY. James chuckled to himself and replied with a thumbs up. James then paused. He texted his mom, You promise you will back, right. Promise? He waited his mother's response until he heard Natalee cry from being woken up.  He went to his sister's cry and cradled her. "Mom and dad went out. They'll be back Nat." 

Takes place before they Time Travel

     Natasha struggled to put on her gloves. Steve saw and took them from her and put them on for her. "Hey, baby, what's wrong?" Steve whispered. None of the Avengers know of their family. Only Clint. Natasha whispered back. "I'm worried about James and Natalee." 

    Steve sighed. "James can look after himself and Natalee. There is a reason why you did teach him self defiance." Steve said with a smirk. Natasha chuckled with a smile on her face. Steve knelt down and kissed Natasha, making her smile. 

The Avengers walked to the Time Travel Machine. After Steve's pep talk, Natasha is ready. "See you in a minute," She said, smirking. Steve smiles and thinks to himself, everything is gonna be alright.

-After Time Travel-

    Clint clambered to the floor in despair. He got the Soul Stone, but without Natasha.  Smart Hulk looked at Clint's despaired face, then noticed Natasha was no where. "Clint, where's Nat?" Clint painfully looked up, his gaze mostly resting on Steve. "Gone . . ." He slowly leaned down. 

    Steve ran his hands through his hair, as the team shared a moment of silence. What am I gonna tell James? 'Hey, your mother's gone and she's not coming back?'  Later on, the team was standing on a water deck looking out to the horizon. Tony rested his head on his hand. "Do we know if she had any family?" 

    "Yea, us," Steve replied blankly. All Steve could feel is regret. He's gonna have to sometime tell James that his mother is gone. 

    In outrage, Smart Hulk threw a bench across the lake in front of the Avenger.  Steve's phone started to vibrate. He looked at the caller ID. James. He walked away from the team and answered the phone. "Hey James, What's wrong? Is Natalee okay?" 

"Yea, Natalee is fine, I worried about mom, she's not answering her cell." James suddenly sounded worried. Tony looked at Steve. "Hey Cap, who's that," Tony asked annoyed. Steve pulled out his index finger. "James, listen carefully, Take the Tesla, and drive to the Avengers Tower, you hear? Make sure Natalee is safely strapped in."

"Is something wrong?"

"James, please just listen."

"Where. Is. Mom?"
