the Second Task

Darkness, like all complex conditions, was hard to come by. Sure, it could grow dark at night. The sun would set and the shadows loomed over the provinces, dancing throughout the city and its streets. At times, one close all doors in the house, blow out all candies, turn off all light sources, and see little more than the static behind their eyes. All those situations, however, would not be fit to describe true darkness.

True darkness could be described as the light behind King Charles' eyes as he paced the floor. True darkness could be described as the dark corridors hundreds of feet beneath his own. True darkness could be, but should never be, described as his reign of power that extended far greater than he could have ever dreamed of as a child.

Perhaps he could seek solace down below, where countless terrors awaited. Perhaps he could watch as darkness descended upon his people, helpless from its grasp. Or perhaps he could wait, and watch, for a hero to rise from it and conquer the endless night.

Task

For your second task, you've got it made! You, all the other wonderful heroes, and whoever else I guess you'd like to include, will be let into the dungeon. Your entrance should be some type of large door, but honestly if you've got a cool entrance idea lay it on me.

Things you will need to include are: Your character ENTERING the dungeons. Have them look around. They need to explore at least a little bit. Then, I need them to find some type of locked room. Your character will need to break through to this room, where you'll find your first real challenge. This challenge will be...

Some form of really large, poisonous, evil-looking snake. This needs to be a deadly snake. This should be something that's hard for your character to get past. The snake needs to be dead before you move on.

In this room, you'll also find a locked chest. If you can get this chest open (hint it needs to be opened in your entry, I don't care HOW it's opened) you'll find a scroll inside with the King's Initials on it.

That's it! :) You can also totally have your character fight other characters to obtain the scroll. After all, you're not the only ones down there.

Ballot Challenges and Challengers:

Up for this wonderful ballot challenge will be: Captain Odette, Sade, Aurelia, Kenna, Samgar.

This Wonderful challenge will be:

-Removal of one creative aspect in your entry. If you aren't able to handle this well, or you really hate the snake you're stuck with, you can always back out of the challenge and take the minus 1 point to your score. This will be our first task where people get eliminated though, so, good luck to you if you decide not to follow this.

Your snake creature must be based off the Deathcoils creature from DND. They're 80 feet long, cruel, and cunning.

"Deathcoils were massive, serpentine beasts known for their appetite."

So
