the Sixth Task (FINALS)

Y'all left this at a STRONG tie and I had to break it. That said, we are always sad to see amazing writers leave us.

We must say goodbye today to: Kenna Ashfyre and Mordecai Caddel

With this, our final three move forward. Would it be cliche to say something about the odds in your favor?

***

A brave man once befriended a witch--perhaps, once upon a time, he would have aspired to marry her. A beautiful princess who dabbled in the dark arts and a mighty King who dabbled in the fine art of war. What a pair they could have made. The beautiful and the brave.

In his distance, a passing comment left for bad blood. A fight ensued, with words spoken that could never be unspoken.

All that was left was a brave man trying desperately to make amends before one so sweet turned so cruel.

But brave men fall ill at the sight of blood and they find themselves running away altogether instead of trying to save the ones they love. Because brave men, at the heart of it, find fighting a battle against people they've never known easy and facing the reality of one they know passing all too hard. Perhaps this could be why Charles himself did not descend to fight for his lover. Perhaps this is why, each time he has gone to speak for the last year, his voice held no sound at all. Or perhaps it is why no one in the room recognized his lover's existence. Parzifal was a small ghost of a person, hardly a shell, fitter to being a silent maid than that of an esteemed knight.

Soon, time would tell, the true strongest in the land would face Charles's biggest nightmare. Or perhaps they would turn against him and leave the darkness where it lie, stuck in stasis.

The time was growing later. King Charles took towards the door.

For this last task--honestly do whatever you want. Make certain to have a solid ending for your character.

If you thought the King story I have kinda put in place was interesting, go for that and fight against my boss there. Otherwise, y'all have some SOLID entries and characters and plots and I am extremely engaged. Give me a good ending and that's all I ask of.
