I was in a dilemma. A serious one.

I couldn't decide whether or not I should go to the party. I had the address, I knew the way but I didn't know if my going would be a good idea. That girls was starting to mess with my head, but so were my thoughts of him. I was greatly conflicted.

However, thinking about the last few days that I'd been here, all I'd gotten were warnings.

First, from my gut which was right nearly eighty percent of the time, telling me that there was something off about this place. Then from Regina about the Storm Twins, next from the security guard and now from the girl whose got uncannily similar looks to that security guard. I couldn't help but wonder if all these warnings were connected. What if they were all warning me about the Storm Twins? If so, though, why?

But, also thinking about it, I didn't even know what the Storm Twins were about. All I knew was that they could put the whole school into a trance and that the other one, the guy, had been on my mind nearly all the tim since I first saw him. Trying to get myself to think about other things was actually a struggle.

I needed to know what their deal was. Even their names would be okay for me. All I knew about them was that they were beautiful and had the ability to somehow stop time. That wasn't enough. I couldn't go another day not knowing anything about him.

Finally, I decided that everyone was warning me about people who could be totally harmless but I wouldn't know until I found out for myself. So, having made up my mind, I rushed to my closet and pulled out a leather skirt that stopped mid thigh and I paired it with knee-high boots and a cute yellow crop top. I tied my hair into a messy bun, allowing the untameable strands to fall out rather stylishly may I add. I then did my edges to complete the look and finally applied some subtle makeup since, as I'd been told multiple times, I looked like I had makeup from birth.

Once done, I checked myself in the full-body mirror then smiled, happy with my appearance.

I grabbed my phone and purse then headed downstairs. McGregor and mum were already asleep, so I didn't have to bother sneaking out through my window. The house at which the party was being held wasn't far from McGregor's house, thankfully. It was about four blocks away. I knew this because of the town map that I'd printed in the town library the other day.

After having closed the door gently, I let out a sigh and stared at the dimly lit road. From where I was, I could already see the flashing lights and hear the loud dance music. Yet, I still didn't feel as hyped about the party. If anything, I felt a feeling of dread wash over me momentarily, like something big, something bad was about to happen. But I stubbornly ignored it and pushed it down and started walking towards the party.

Finally after ten minutes, I arrived. The house was large, just like McGregor's. Drunk teenagers were scattered on the yard outside some against the walk doing things that should not be done in public. Loud music was blaring from the house and from what I could tell the house was already in full swing.

I made my way into the house and I saw that the sofas in the living doom were pushed to the sides to create a makeshift dance floor with a large disco ball hanging from the ceiling.

"Kira! You made it!" I heard someone shout over the loud music.

I turned around to see Regina there. Her hair was down, allowing it to fall to its full length. She had on mascara and that made her blue eyes lop out even more. In short, she looked great. She immediately hugged me then said excitedly, "Oh my goodness, you look amazing! Wait here, let me go get you a drink."

I smiled at her. I allowed myself to move my hips from side to side when a new song that I loved started playing. However, from the corner of my eyes, I saw that girl, the small one, staring at me with disappointment. She shook her head and disappeared into the shadows. I scoffed. She had no right to be disappointed in me. She didn't even explain why I couldn't come to the party, so that's on her.

Although, my reason for coming to this party was to find out what exactly is up with this place, so I figured I should start on that. I could see Regina at the cocktail getting me the drink she'd said she would but I had other plans. I pushed my way through the ocean of drunk teenagers swaying to the music and I looked up. I don't know what made me do it, but I'm glad I did.

Someone was watching me.

When I looked up, though, all I saw was a retreating body.

I then rushed up the stairs to the second floor and all that was there was couples entering various rooms or making use of dark corners. Then I made my way to the next staircase, making sure no one was looking because it looked to me like no-one was allowed on the third floor, but I went up there anyway, I dashed up there but I didn't see anyone.

"Hello?" I called out.

I shook my head. What kind of stalker would answer? It's like all those movies I'd watched. The stalker would be watching and hearing your calls but they wouldn't come ou—

"It's about time you came looking for me," spoke a voice and I literally jumped in surprise.
