Sarah, Fionulla and Peggy stood by the campfire as the sun began to set, Sarah was concerned with the evening meal and she worked to create an aroma that seemed to mildly tame the tense atmosphere of the situation. Fionulla was nervous, edgy and unconsolable but Peggy persisted to sympathise passing little notice of and putting little efford into the vegetables and gravy which were her signiture dishes.
"Do ya want tea, m'dear?" asked Sarah to Fionulla as if Fionulla hadn't a word of english.
Fionulla taken aback then barked "Tea..TEA, my baby...my little, beautiful baby has been taken and could be anywhere... and anything could be happening to him...AND YOU OFFER ME TEA...I WANT A SWORD DRIVEN THROUGH THE STOMACH OF ANYONE WHO LAYS A FINGER ON HIM!!!"
Sarah responsed unemotionally "I offered tea, not revenge.... what is the boiling point of blood anyway?"
"My baby, my baby, my baby" chanted Fionulla in a panic.
"I doubt he's in the pot" said Sarah as she lifted the lid off the pot.
"SARAH... show some sympathy" snapped Peggy.
"I offered her tea, what more can I do?" replied Sarah.
"That's hardly sympathic" said Peggy in her unfeminenly broad voice
"While there is Tea,there is hope!!" said Sarah in a philosophical voice.
That quieten the other two ladies and all the could be heard was the fire
......................................................................................................
"But seriously, do ya want tea" asked Sarah.
