Seth, Molly, Beth, Colm, Simm, Smith and Beageen walked along side Seths' horse Spirit. The small group of youth had gone scavaging throughout the forest for firewood and as the afternoon turned to prevening the group turned for home. Spirit carried 3 large bundle of wood tied with twine on her back, Seth carried one heavy bundle over his shoulder fairly passively and Smith who admired Seth attempted the same but was too small for that so he held on to the bundle awkwardly behind his back. Colm not wanting to be outdone made similiar attempts but the best he could do was roughly drag his bundle, but Molly stepped in and held one side as Colm nervously held the other because she knew of the hard time Smith gave Colm. Beth and Beageen were fascinated by Spirits' strenght and ease at moving such a weight and questioned her as if she could talk and listened to every breath or grunt she released.

The small group crossed the rope bridge in the forest not too far from the camp which had a slighty too long of a fall to an uninviting rapid river. Just as they reached the far side they began to hear loud noises and the ground began to lightly shake and the bridge rocked and rocked and the wood thumped loudly as something or many somethings charged acroos it.

Before the small group stood nine large boars, eight of them brown and the largest was as black as coal or maybe even blacker. But the boars were the least of their worries as they had been tamed, and not tamed but farmers for meat but to be used like horses by trolls. The eight smaller boars (but still probably the same size as Spirit) carried 2 smaller trolls each. Eight of them dismounted, they were all similiar in their horrendous appearance, they were all around 5 foot tall, with hunch backs and had skin the same colour as a peas, they wore tattered clothes that had probably all fallen apart at some stage and had been patched together with whatever was at hand, Their heads shaped like an oval on its' side and they had miniature dots for eyes and larger mouth full with rotten teeth at best.

On the largest boar sat a much larger troll, clearly their boss. His outfit looked like what the others probably had before it was tattered and torn and he worn armour over that, loosely on the warm day. His helmet had horns stained in blood like the helmets viking were suppose to wear but never did which encircled his head until it reached his chinand back up again. He was probably at least 7 foot tall. He grinned as his boar grunted and he blew a horn which bellowed throughout the forest with an echo and roared he started barking out orders,

"GETT 'UM!!!!!!!!!", he barked as four smaller trolls ran at the group armed with wooden clubs.

Seth responded quickly as  he imagined the assault in slow motion and he spotted the attackers' faults and he swung his sword sharply towards the troll second from the right causes his arm to bleed and continuing his swing to the right and proceeding with a passive slash to the left killing the four trolls.

"RUNNN!!!!!!", shouted Seth, "INTO THE TREES"

Molly then led the children quickly into the dense forest, the children were screaming and they'd every right to be as four more of the trolls persued them into the trees. And to Seth's horror he was left alone to fight off the the nine remaining trolls, including the leader which dismounted from his boars' back to reveal a sword so long, sharp and solid that Seth shieved....
