ariana- huh i was talking to someone a while back but work took over and i just ghosted them so dont worry its not that either ill tell you when im ready

clyde- ok im here if anything but lowkey im kinda jealous who was he? what does he do? what was so good about him?

she laughed

clyde- i missed that laugh of yours

ariana- and i missed your voice

they talked for a bit until he had to go ..

ariana: sorry the call took a bit mom are you ok have you ate? you haven't touched what i cooked?

alicia: did you tell him?

she went quiet and shook her head

alicia: why not? whats wrong with you? he loves you hes looking for you?

ariana: i told him about the guy i was talking to i dont know if he'll think wrong i dont know and if i do tell him hes gonna wanna show up and i dont want that not right now

alicia: im going to be ok ariana

weeks went by they talked nonstop on the phone via text ..

marisol- you talking to him again or what?

ariana- homies again yea why? how you been ive missed you crazy?

ariana went quiet and looked at her phone his last text to her was i love you from the night before

she hung up and got online and started looking at the county jail inmates .. she heard a thud

she got herself and went into he bathroom

she was sitting don't he floor hugging the toilet

ariana: the doctor said it'll pass the chemo is working?

alicia looked at her

alicia: its killing me slower and i dont wanna be like this anymore i cant sleep im throwing up blood .. i wanna go home ari i wanna go home

ariana: we are home?

she shook her head

alicia: in the bank i have money saved up .. get a transfer out to where grandma lives mija

ariana: mom im 8 months pregnant? please i need you to live a bit longer i want you there with me? i want you to meet him? mom?

alicia: ill get the last treatment and we'll leave home ill call grandma in the morning ok? please its my last wish mi vida

she nodded and hugged her tight .. the days went by she got her transfer and her doctor transfer the last thing on her mind was clyde until her phone started to ring

ariana- hello?

a county jail recording played she accepted the call

ariana- i thought marisol was lying when she calling me all this shit huh but i looked for you and there you where .. are you serious?

clyde- someone snitched on us me and my brothers went down the homies did to im looking at 6 months

ariana- 6 months? where?

ariana- me and my mom are moving in with my grandma .. i got a job transfer out there um my moms dying her last wish is to be home with her and that im with family so um ill be near..

ariana- shes a fighter but shes tired .. but there's something i been wanting to tell you and i hate that your locked up

the machine talked

clyde- im sorry it had to go down like this um im getting transferred in the morning ill call you when im settled ok? i love you ariana always have always will i hope in 6 months we can do this again?

ariana- yea call me write me send me info .. ill be at the doors waiting for you i love you too
