"Objectively speaking, Potions is a rubbish subject," Kyra grumbled, glaring down at her notes for the Drought of Living Death. It was a Sunday evening just a couple of weeks before the end of year exams and Kyra had begrudgingly conceded to Oscar that she needed to start revising.

Although she felt fairly certain that she would do well in her Herbology and DADA exams, the rest of her subjects were looking shaky and Oscar was becoming stressed on her behalf, going so far as making a revision schedule for her.

Looking around the Gryffindor common room, in which she, Oscar and Kat were revising, seated around a circular table near the window, Kyra gazed longingly out the window.

It was a beautiful day; cloudless and warm, with a soft breeze making the green tops of the trees wave gently. The sound of people yelling and playing quidditch floated in through the open window.

The final quidditch match of the season, Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw, was fast approaching, scheduled for the day right after the sixth year's final exam.

Kat in particular was feeling the stress particularly, since she had both exams and quidditch to worry about. She sat on her chair in the common room, one leg tucked under the other, frantically scribbling.

Her hair was falling into her face and Kyra leaned forward to brush it back. Kat batted her hand away, then she slumped back in her chair. "Sorry. I'm just way too stressed right now."

Kyra nodded, leaning her chair back and dropping her pen. "I know, it sucks that you also have quidditch stress."

She shrugged it off. "The quidditch is fine, it's actually destressing." She paused, gesturing at her parchment paper. "It's mainly Transfiguration and Charms that's stressing me out."

Oscar huffed at them to be quiet, turning the page of his textbook and Kyra lowered her voice. "Well, in that case, I guess I could be persuaded to play quidditch with you guys, if you wanted..."

Kat looked up at her, a smile spreading over her face as Oscar glanced over, eyes wide. "Seriously?" They asked together.

She laughed, raising the palms of her hands in defence. "Yes, yes, crazy, I know. I'm actually a decent keeper now though."

Kat smirked. "Yeah, now that your boyfriend is a quidditch player."

Kyra's face heated and avoided Kat's gaze. "He's not a quidditch player. And he's not my boyfriend!" she protested. "I think," she added with a frown.

Kat laughed, and shrugged. "It's funny how you knew who I was talking about, though," she teased.
