It took a while for us to recover from the conversation with Evelyn, where our spirits were dampened by the cage surrounding us.

It took the rest of the train ride and then checking in before we could crack a joke that wasn't about our dire situation.

It was a little after seven when we were making our way to the town with bars and clubs, our arms interlinked and our faces downcast.

We had been gone from the clubhouse for a little over four hours, the boys were surely getting close to discovering where we were. I gave us until midnight before we were swept away by our captors.

We traipsed into the nearest bar, seating ourselves at a table in the corner where we could keep an eye on the room and whoever walked in.

It was the type of bar that looked like it couldn't decide what to be but still held that homey vibe to it that instantly made me feel calmer.

We were sat sipping cocktails for a few minutes before Evelyn suddenly perked up.

I followed her line of vision and tensed when I landed on a few bikers stood casually at the bar. I focused on the one who stood with part of their back to us and tried to place the logo. It looked like an eye but there was something else to it, they were too far away for me to see what it was but whatever it was, didn't seem good.

Evelyn, however, looked as if Christmas arrived early. Her well-manicured hand gripped my arm in a vice like grip.

"Those guys are almost as famous as our guys." She whispered excitedly to us; her eyes lit up with excitement. "They're just as ruthless but they don't give a shit about keeping women tied down. They even let women into their club."

That grabbed mine and Lana's attention. Neither of us had any plans of joining the club but it still bothered us that we couldn't. Evelyn would join in a heartbeat.

I looked at them more closely, this time focusing on the face of the one turned towards us. "You sure? They don't look very nice."

That was an understatement, even from here I could see the cruel glint in his eyes and mocking smirk on his lips. He was talking to his friends, but he might as well have been goading his enemies with how he was looking at them as they spoke.

Evelyn jumped down from her seat and threw us a wink over her shoulder. "I'll be right back ladies."

Horrified, I grabbed at her arm, but she slunk out of my hold and sashayed towards the bikers. "She's going to get them killed."

Lana was watching the approaching disaster worriedly. "I'm not sure, they look like they might kill us before they can be killed."

Evelyn reached the group, her hand immediately went to the arm of the man with his back to us and she smiled slyly up at him. She said something to them which caused Cruel Eyes to swivel his eyes our way.

They locked onto us and I immediately turned my face away from him. I waited a few seconds before returning my gaze to the group.

I was relieved to see they were focusing their attention on Evelyn but my relief was short lived. Cruel Eyes was playing with her hair, that same mocking smirk painted on his face.

She raised a challenging brow and bumped her shoulder against his, giggling at his response.

He then said something that had her smile slipping for a moment, it was long enough for me to notice but I didn't think they would notice.

The guy with his back to us, suddenly shifted to block her from our sight. Immediately, I was pushing our drinks to Lana to watch over and hopping from my seat. "Watch over our drinks, I'm going to get her."
