I take back what I said earlier. To hell with the universe, I knew something wasn't right. The thought of spending the entire semester with this meathead disgusted me.

By the time the teacher had finished his lesson and sent us off to do our work, my head had already started to pound. And even better, right when the chatter started to build up within the class, Jasper stood up and walked his stupid ass right to where I sat, and pulled out the chair at the desk beside me, plopping right down on it.

I felt like throwing myself out that darn window.

"Well well." His voice sounded from beside me. I could feel that stupid smirk that would've been plastered on his face - I didn't even have to turn around to look. "Looks like the universe brought you right to me."

"Well shit. Looks like we're meant to be." I groaned in response, using my fingers to tug down the collar of the shirt I wore, revealing a portion of the tattoo that covered the left side of my neck and shoulder. I glanced sideways at him, smirking as his smug expression was immediately wiped away from his face, and his hand immediately clasping over the right side of his neck in panic.

We had the same goddamn tattoo. He'd suggested that we get them matching a few years back, and despite my protests, he made me get the darn thing in the end. Only now, years after we fell apart into an abhorrent rivalry, both of us haven't gotten it removed yet.

I personally had grown attached to the design... It made me look tough. I wanted to be the one who kept it, but I'm guessing he's got the same intentions. Despite the fact, he's still the one that covers it up no matter what, resulting in the turtleneck he never fails to wear underneath his uniform. Of course, Mr. Popular here can't be seen wearing matching tattoos with the most hated student in the school.

I heard an irritated grunt, and just like that, he left. Huh. I should have tried this earlier. I couldn't help but smirk a little as he walked back to his seat, hands in his pocket, acting as if nothing happened. He immediately called over this one girl who was walking by, and boy, she ran over to him like a dog.

I rolled my eyes and went back to dramatically looking out the window like the dramatic bitch I am. The rest of the classes went by pretty quickly, with three other teachers coming in and out as each taught a different subject, and just like that, the day was over. Despite my dread for the school day, I dreaded going to settle into our dorms even more. Especially on the first day. I prayed that my roommate this year was better than the last - but then again, that seems to never happen. The school may be fancy and all that, sure, but when it comes to the dorms... Well, everyone prays that they're not stuck with some first grader.
