Jessica POV
Will arrived about 30 minutes after Jay rang him. Ever since he walked, he had been looking around my house expecting something. Jay offered him tea which he accepted. Jay also grabbed me a camomile tea with some fresh gingerbread men. Will took a look at my leg and made a hissing sound.
"Looks nasty. How did you do it?" Will asked me ask he sanitised and wiped down the area.
"I feel in the shower while shaving my legs. Just lost my balance." I said to him truthfully. I think he was a bit creeped out as I didnt flinch at the pain. I havnt felt pain for a while since i kept nicking myself on the ax while I sharpen it but I wont tell him that.
"Looks too deep for a razor cut." Will noted as he looked closer at my leg.
"I dont use a razor, I use a straight razor. It gives a cleaner cut. And it doesnt wear out as fast as normal womens razors." I say to him. He seemed sceptical but carried on,
"Interesting. Sounds like you've found what works." He said almost sarcastically.
"Is there something wrong you arent telling me?" I say to him as Jay brings our teas.
"No. Just shocked at your pain tolerance. You havnt flinched once while ive sanitised the area with rubbing alcohol and the cut is so deep that a typical person would have passed out." Will pointed out. Jay looked at his brother about to say something but i stopped him.
"I have a high pain tolerance because i was systematically abused by my parents before they died. I'm also a woman with endometriosis. My period cramps hurt worse than this." I say to him as he is putting some stitches in my leg.
"Well, I wish all patients with a gash like yours would sit as still as you." He says chuckling and finishing of the stitches.
"Not everyone can be me." I say sipping my tea.
"I just need to ask, how did you fall? Dizziness? Nausea? Faintness? Loss of consciousness? Anything like that." Will said. He was trying to piece things together but hes digging.
"I'm sure you've hear the news about the fabric found at the latest ax murder scene" I say to him as hes packing all his stuff away.
"Yeah. That bit of fabric they are hopeful will identify the killer." Will said, sitting on the coffee table to finish his tea
"My parents were killed by the ax murderer while they were out one night. I phoned the police when they didnt come home. They informed me that my parents were killed. It was the day i vowed to help whatever way i could to bring that person to justice. It just shocked me that I might finally get some closure." I said starting to cry. All this is fake though. I did a summer in acting school. Jay cuddled me and acted as the concerned boyfriend.
"I'm sorry for you loss Jessica." Will said, looking down at his tea.
"Please, call me Jess. Jessica is too formal. Ive been dating jay what?... six nearly 7 months. I think we are passed formal." I say to him and giggle a little bit.
"Has it really been 7 months. Time flies." Will says, setting his cup on the coffee table to wrap my leg in the gause he left out.
"Are you busy the rest of the day or are you finished now?" Jay asked. I really dont want house guests tonight.
"Unfortunatly, I have to get back to work. I'm technically on my lunch break." Will said, collecting his stuff up and heading for the door with Jay.
"Well, I cant thank you enough for coming to do my leg Will. It really means alot. Let us know how mush we own for the stitches and stuff." I sat to him as we hug at the door.
