Chapter 6

Cassie's POV

"Hello! Welcome to Kate's. How many do we have today?" The waitress smiles at us, as we start to gather around her podium.

"Seven," Zayn responds. He then turns his head to look around the restaurant. I soon find myself doing the same. It's a pretty nice restaurant, surprisingly, it's not all that busy. I'm happy it's not busy, though. This way we can all eat without being interrupted by a bunch of fangirls. 

"Please, come right this way," the waitress grabs seven menus, and begins to walk towards a table in the back. When we reach the table, the waitress places the menus at different spots around the big booth and hands out a few napkins, as well. We all squeeze into the booth.

"My name's Ashley," the waitress smiles at us. "Thanks so much for coming to Kate's. Can I get you guys something to drink?" We all settle on a coca-cola to drink, and then Ashley walks towards the side of the restaurant to get our drinks. Once she's gone, we all sit in an awkward silence.

"So," Niall broke the silence. "Are you single?" he looks at Tori and I notice her blush. We all start laughing, and Liam tells Niall not to be so rude, which causes Niall to apologize.

"Oh goodness, it's fine!" Tori giggles. "I'm single though, yes," she answers.

"Good to know," Niall winks and we all start to laugh again, except for Liam. 

I can't remember the last time Tori and I had boyfriends. I think I was around thirteen when I had my last boyfriend, and Tori was about 16 when she had hers. I'm not a lesbian or anything, not that being a lesbian's bad, but I've never really been into the whole dating guys thing. It's pointless and a waste of time unless you get lucky and find a good one. 

"Cas?" Tori wove her hand in front of my face, which made me quickly turn to look at her. She mouths "are you okay?" to me and I nod. I look around at the other guys at the table and notice they are all staring at me. 

"Here are your drinks, everyone. I'll be back in a moment to take your guys' orders," Ashley, our waitress, said as she hands us our drinks. Liam nods his head, and Louis gives a small "thank you". The waitress checked with two other tables she was waiting on before she returned to us, but then we all ordered our food. We got a big dish of fish and chips for us all to share. Kate's is well known for their fish and chips, apparently. 

We ate in mostly silence. We made small talk amongst ourselves, but it was still pretty quiet. It's weird going to dinner with people you don't know that well. 

After we finished eating the waitress returned. "I hope you all had a lovely meal! Don't worry about paying. It's on the house," she smiles.

"Nope," Harry shakes his head. "How much is it? I'm paying, whether you want me to or not."

Ashley laughs. "I'm sorry, but it was boss' orders! Got to obey him," she winks. "Have a nice night, guys. Be safe!" 

"Thanks so much!" Liam gushes. After we got our stuff together, we quickly head out of the restaurant. Even though there is not going to be many fans around, we still want to get back to the house.

"Hey, Victorianna," I tease, plopping myself on the couch next to Tori. She hates it when I call her by her full name, which is why I do it.

"Hey, Cassandra," Tori replies sarcastically.

I laugh.

"Whatcha' doinnnn?" I sang, imitating that one girl from Phineas and Ferb.
