I heedfully flipped him over, just to see the same knife that I was cut with, sticking out of his chest.
I knew immediately that I needed to get out of there, and that I couldn't leave the knife because my DNA was on it.
I grabbed the knife by the handle, yanked it out of his chest, put it in my backpack, and ran the rest of the way home.
Once I saw that my mom's car wasn't in the driveway, I knew I was in the clear. I quickly unlocked the door to the house and ran upstairs.
I opened my backpack and pulled out the knife. I quickly ran into the bathroom with my spare change of clothes in hand.
I turned on the sink faucet and put the plug in the drain. I reached underneath the sink and pulled out the bleach, and poor a bunch in the sink with the hot water. I dropped the knife into the sink and turned off the faucet, and got ready to take a shower.
Once I got out of the shower, I drained the sink, and wiped the knife off with a clean rag, in an attempt to get rid of any fingerprints or DNA that were left on it.
