Lars pov

I looked over at her, we were both laying on our backs. She was gorgeous. Her beautiful hair, her eyes, her voice, she was absolutely gorgeous. The cool thing is, she didn't resemble James too much. So I could easily crush on her and feel like I wasn't in love with my best friend.

"What do we do now?" she asked me. "Don't know." I replied. I want to kiss you, that's what I want to do.

I didn't enjoy the fact she hates me. I like her. I'm not madly in love, but the hatred she has for me ruins a lot. But she's seeming to be happier and less mad at me for no reason. 'I love you, Lars' are the perfect words I want to hear spill from her pretty, kissable lips. I just want to hold her in my arms and kiss her. That's all I've ever wanted.

"I'm gonna go see Kirk" she told me, getting off the bed. "Can I come?" I asked. "Sure? I didn't really want you in my room alone anyways but up to you I guess." she said, leaning against the door frame. "I'll stay." I said. She shrugged and walked out, closing the door behind her.

All alone in her room, what do I even do? I can't go through her stuff, that'd be really weird. But I don't have anything else to do...

I open the drawer in her bedside table. I grab the small notebook she had in it, flipping to a random page.

i absolutely cannot stand lars. his personality, his hyper energy, everything about him ticks me off. the fact he's always at my stupid house too. when he is, he never leaves me alone.

thing is i hate about lars the most, his stupid pretty face. such an annoying person, with such a pretty face. everything other than his personality is pretty. his hair, his face, his lips, his body, you name it.

honestly, lars is funny sometimes. but usually,  i just don't get his humour and don't find it funny. he's a boy, boys have weird humour.

do i like lars? dude i don't know. he's just, attractive. i'm not attracted to his personality though. god he needs to work on it. he always whines and complains about everything, like a child. if he got better, and actually acted like his age, then that would be nice. maybe i'd love him more.

Oh.

That was yesterday.

I heard footsteps coming down the hallway, so I quickly put the book back in it's spot. I got up pretending I was looking through her record collection the entire time.

The door opened, "When'd I say you could take a look through my records?" Phoebe said, leaning against the door frame again. "I'm sorry. I was bored, and your collection is interesting." I said, a bit embarrassed. "Alright. Just figure out something to do. Don't go through my stuff other than that." she said, walking out again.

I stayed for a couple more minutes, actually looking through her record collection.

Instead of staying in her room, I followed her into James' room. Kirk, Jason, James and Phoebe were sitting on the floor in a circle. They were watching Phoebe and James has a rock paper scissors war. "What's going on?" I asked them.

"We're figuring with Het is excluded from spin the bottle tonight." Kirk giggled a bit, looking up at me. Oh, that's a bit weird. As much as James is my best friend though, I hope he loses.

"Score is 2-3. Pheebs winning so far." Jason said, still focusing on the game. "2-4" Jason continued. "Out of 5 or 10?" I asked, "10."

"3-4, 4-4, 4-5, 4-6, 4-7, 5-7, 6-7, 7-7, 8-7 9-7," Jason continued. I could see fear starting on James' face. "Wait wait" I interrupted, "Why're we playing spin the bottle? Especially if James wins? We're all men, Kirks the only gay one"

"I'm not gay dude!" Kirk punched my leg, "You literally said you were bi infront of thousands of people but okay." I laughed at Kirk a bit. "While I was sitting on YOUR lap!" he shouted at me. I glared at him, slightly flustered by that.

"Keep going." I told them.

"9-8, 9-9, winning round.. goes to... Pheebs! Ok we can play tonight, thanks James." Jason finished.

What was the point? We weren't gonna play if James won.

Phoebe looked a bit happy, until she looked over at me. The slight smile on her face turned into a frown. Was she scared she'd land the bottle on me?

I watched her run back to her room, I didn't follow her.

The other 2 left, leaving James and I.

"James?"

"Sup bud?" he looked up at me.

"Can I talk to you?" I ask him, closing the door. He raised his eyebrow slightly. "Go on..." he said.

"I went through Pheebs diary or something I don't know. But you know, I like your sister, she hates me. Yesterday, she wrote about how she hates my personality and shit, but she thinks I'm attractive. Like she said my face is pretty, my eyes, hair, you know. And, she wrote 'if he just changed his personality I'd love him more' Just like, I'm confused. Do I talk to her?" I blurted out to him, hoping he understood a bit of it

"Okay uh... what do you want me to do? Like you probably shouldn't tell her cause she'll know you went through her book. Just wait for her to come to your or something." he told me. "Thanks for trying man." I said, leaving his room.
