Story:
Chapter 1-
Why is it raining again? I thought bitterly. Rains scare me a lot and on top of that like an icing on a cake I just finished watching an horror movie entitled 'The Conjuring'.
My flatmate had already gone to sleep in her room with her boyfriend. It was just me now staring outside my windows at the raindrops in a dark room. I got up and went near the window to get a clear view. My flat was on the 28th floor of the newly built skyscraper in our city 'The Hera Palace'. Now I got the perfect view of the city. There were lots of vehicles causing traffic but there was no sign of people walking outside. I hardly spotted one or two. Maybe people have huddled in their house to get comfortable with their dear ones. My hatred for rain began when I was deprived of my comfort. It was the same rainy day when my parents bid me goodbye and then I headed straight to Seattle where my new life started. That was the last time I saw my parents and him. Whatever happens how can I ever forget him.
Just to break us apart I was made to leave my house and move somewhere far. I had settled very well but those past memories still had a hold of me and it was at last my decision to stay with these memories to survive the strangeness of this new place. I sighed thinking about it. Maybe a cup of hot chocolate and Oreo cookies would cheer me up. Thinking this I went towards the kitchen, made myself a piping hot drink and grabbed a box of Oreos. I was about to turn to return to my room when I heard the doorbell ring. Who could it be at this hour?
I checked the time it was one o'clock at night. I slowly opened the door, and I came face to face to a man. That person was an inch taller than me, was well built, was wearing a neatly ironed black suit and a black mask with a cap covering his eyes. "who?" my words made him look up and I locked my eyes with his.
