Trisha and Kylee woke up to the sound of footsteps above them. They exchanged a look of fear - had their captor returned?

But as they listened closer, they realized that the footsteps were getting further away. Maybe this was their chance.

Kylee gently shook Trisha awake and they both stood up, their eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness. They could make out a small window high on one wall, letting in a sliver of moonlight.

Trisha climbed onto Kylee's shoulders and reached up towards the window. It was too high for her to reach, but she could just barely brush it with her fingertips.

Suddenly, there was a loud creaking noise from above them. The girls froze in terror - had they been discovered?

But then they realized that the noise was coming from the window. Slowly but surely, it was sliding open.

With renewed hope, Trisha pushed harder against the glass until it finally gave way. A rush of cool night air flooded into the basement.

Kylee helped her down from the windowsill and they both squeezed through the opening. They found themselves in a small alleyway behind the house.

Without looking back, they ran as fast as they could into the darkness, desperate to put as much distance between themselves and their captor as possible.

As they stumbled through the streets, gasping for breath, Trisha felt a surge of relief wash over her. They had made it out alive.

And now, more than ever before, she was determined to find a way to switch their bodies back and put an end to this nightmare once and for all.

"So what, next, we're lost in the city, no one we know is here most likely and I'm sure that man will realize were gone soon," Kylee says. "we need to find food, we haven't eaten yet and I'm sure were both starving," Trisha says. "Yeah but with what money?" Kylee asks.

Trisha looks around, taking in their surroundings. "We'll figure it out," she says with determination. "There has to be a way."

They continue walking through the empty streets, their stomachs growling with hunger. Trisha keeps her eyes peeled for any signs of life or civilization.

As they turn a corner, they see a small convenience store up ahead. It's closed, but there are still some snacks and drinks on display outside.

Without hesitation, Trisha heads over to the display and starts grabbing whatever she can get her hands on. She tosses a bag of chips and a couple of candy bars to Kylee.

"We'll pay them back later," Trisha whispers as they hurry away from the store with their loot.

Kylee nods gratefully, tearing open the packaging and stuffing a handful of chips into her mouth.

Trisha tries not to think about the fact that they're technically stealing, but she knows they don't have much choice. They need to keep their strength up if they want to make it out of this alive.

As they walk down the street, munching on their stolen snacks, Trisha can't help but feel a glimmer of hope. They may be lost and alone in an unfamiliar city, but at least they're together - and that's all that matters right now.
