Part 6- School trip

"Sweetie you're gonna be late!" Anna's mom screams.
Anna wakes up in confusion "wait what"
She looks at the time
"OH MY GOSH" she screams while jumping up
She throws on a pink debate hoodie and her favorite flared leggings. She didn't have anytime for make up or hair so she threw her hair up in a bun and put her glasses on.

"I've never woke up late." She says while running down the stairs.
Her mom is waiting in the car for her.
"Sorry I didn't mean to mom" she says frantically
"Don't be sorry you never do it. It's ok to let lose a little" her mom says with a smile.
They got to school but she was already late for her 1st period.

BRAYDENS POV.
"Where is she"
"She never misses school." I think to myself.
I try to focus on my work but she's all I can think about. "Is she ok?" I ask myself about a billion times.
I don't care why am I thinking this.
"Bro did you see who you're roommates with"James says
"Yes of course I did" I said with a frown.
"If you're mad about I'll switch with you." "She's hot" james says with a smirk.

"Ew no." I said
"You can not date that weirdo" I said while laughing.

He sits back in his seat shaking his head.

I think to myself "she isn't that weird."
Oh my I need to snap out of it. It's Anna Gettis. She's gross.

Its 15 minutes into first period and she's really not here. What if she got kidnapped or sent to a boarding school. I don't care. It's Anna.

Why do I care so much.

ANNAS POV"
"Bye mom!" I say while getting out of the car in a rush.
I got to first period and went in.
"You're late roomy" I hear Brayden say.
I ignore him.
"I'm sorry Mr smith I really didn't mean to." I say frantically
"It's ok Anna I'll let you off" Mr smith says
"Just sit down"

"Ok" I say while hurrying to my seat.

As I'm sitting there every time I look up I see ding bat staring at me.
I mouth to him "you have a staring problem"
He flicks me off while acting like he was messing with his hair.

I look back down at my work and get back to studying.
The school trip is in two days.
Great. I have to room with the most annoying person in the world.

For the next two days we didn't talk much. Just the usually fighting over school work. Competing to see who's better. And the casual staring at each other.

It was the day of the class trip and I was getting packed and ready.
I threw 3 pairs of leggings in my duffle bag and a couple sweaters. Along with 2 pairs of sweat pants. And a dress because Kate told me to bring one. I don't know why but I just do what she says.

Mom drove me to the school and helped me with my bags.
"Bye sweetie" she says with a frown
"Mom I'll only be gone for a weekend" I say
"But still I'll miss you." She says while hugging me.
I see Kate "ok bye mom" "I love you"
"Love you too sweets" she says while waving.

I run up to Kate " KATEEE"

"Hey Anna!" She says with a smile.
I look beside her and see her boyfriend.
"Oh hi I guess" I say
"I don't know where my brother is but he's probably thinking about you somewhere" Brayden's brother and Kate's boyfriend Olivier says.
"No he's not. He doesn't like me" I say with a disgusted look.
"You know how many times I hear your name." Oliver says
"Huh" I say confused.
"Oh never mind" Oliver says while turning his head to Kate.

"Everyone get on the bus! You have to sit by your roommates!" A teacher yells.
"Great. The only reason I got put with him is because we're both smart. " I say while shaking my head and walking to the bus.

I get on the bus and go to the very back.
"Bye Kate" I say
"Bye" she says while practically drooling over her boyfriend.

I sit down and then see Brayden get on the bus.
He sees me and starts to go towards me.

"Hey roomy" Brayden says with a smirk.
"I wish you weren't smart." I say while turning towards the window.

I put in my head phones and stare out the window. As I'm thinking to myself "could this be any worse."

My favorite song "Cardigan" by Taylor swift starts playing.
He takes one of my AirPods and puts it in his ear.

"I wanna listen to" he said
"You probably don't like it." I say while turning towards him.
"I love me some Taylor swift!" He says jokingly.
I laugh and say "ok fine."

I start to feel myself fall asleep.

END OF ANNAS POV!!!

Anna started to drift to sleep. Hee head was bobbing everywhere and Brayden noticed

He laughed a little and lightly put her head on his shoulder while smiling the entire time.

2 hours go by and Brayden has fallen asleep as well.
Their almost there and Anna wakes up.
She noticed her head was on his shoulder and jerked up.
She wondered how she let herself do that.
