I got in.

Part 8- class trip continued

ANNAS POV
"What was that all about Brayden" I say.
"He was annoying." Brayden says while looking at me.

"Thanks I guess" I said
As he walked away I could feel my heart beating.
I wondered to myself if it was beating because I was mad or because I like him.
Kate pulled me to the side. "What was that Anna?!"
"What do you mean" I said
"Cmon... you're guys tension is through the roof"
"He was just annoyed" I said in response
"That was a excuse." "He was jealous another guy was hitting on you" Kate said with a smile.

"Yeah right" I say while shaking my head.

It was time to head back and I got on the bus. I sat in the window and Brayden sat in the aisle.

"Thanks by the way." I say after awkward silence.
"You're welcome" he says while looking over to me.

I got lost in his eyes immediately his annoying eyes. He purposely made my heart beat. I think to myself.
He looked away but I couldn't.
Then I snapped back into reality and turned my head to look out the window.
About 6 minutes later all Brayden was going was complaining about being hot.
Brayden's friend offered him his t shirt since he brought a extra.
Of course Brayden said yes.
Brayden began to take his long sleeve shirt off and soon enough he had no shirt on.
I caught myself staring as he did it. I mean how much do you have to work out to look like that? I ask myself.

"Are you done staring Anna?" He says while putting his shirt on.

"No one was looking at you bud." I say while knowing I was.
"Mhm" he says while putting his airpod in.

We got back to the hotel and it was dark. It was our last night there. I ended up going to sleep before Brayden even got back in the room.

It was 4 in the morning and I couldn't fall back asleep for the life me.

I heard Brayden move and whisper "are you up Anna?"
"Yes.." I whisper
"I can't sleep" he says while turning towards me and moving the pillow from in between us.
"Me either" I say while turning towards him.

I looked around and saw that there was a cot in the corner.
"Brayden they brought a cot" I say
"I know they gave it to me yesterday." He said
"Then why the hell aren't you in it" i say
"I forgot about it" he says while looking me in the eyes.
"Yeah sure you just wanted to sleep in the same bed as the smartest person you know" I say.
"Yeah right." He says while turning over and getting up to sleep in the cot.

I turn over and tried my best to sleep.

It was morning time and I was getting packed while Brayden messed around with his friends in the lobby.
I finished getting everything of mine ready and went to get on the bus.

Of course Brayden and his friends run on the bus and sit down while still screaming.
Brayden glances at me and says "hey princess"
"Shut up Brayden" I say while turning towards him.
"Ok hot head" he says
Hot head? What's that suppose to mean. I think to myself.
Did he just call me annoying? Why do I care it's Brayden.

15 minutes into the bus ride Brayden was asleep.
I noticed his head inching towards my shoulder.
It finally fell on my shoulder and I didn't know what to do.

So I let him lay there. I noticed how fluffy his hair was. Another 10 minutes went by and he woke up quickly.
He got off my shoulder and didn't say anything about it. It seemed like he didn't know he had fallen asleep on my shoulder.

We finally got back to the school and everyone got off the bus.
I went over to my mom and found Kate.
"How was it girls" our moms asked.
"It was good" i said.
"Yeah it was great" Kate replied.
"That's good" my mom said.
"Ready to go home?"
"Yess" we both say.
