I got in.

Part 10- confusion

.....
"Anna you are so oblivious." Brayden says in a deep tone while looking at her passionately.

"Im not Brayden." I retorted.
"Mmm ok." He said while looking directly into my eyes.

I was flustered. I didn't know what to do I didn't wanna look away it felt like I was in the place I wanted to be in. I felt amazing. I felt so many things. Part of me wanted to kiss him. Not just kiss..
I wanted him. But I still refused it.

"You're hairs so long." He says while slowly tucking her hair behind her ear and gently running his fingers through it.

"I know it takes a long time to wash" I said while laughing.

"Why do we hate each-other so much?" He asks while looking her up and down.
"Because you're annoying." I said while my eyes slowly traveled all around him.
"You can't talk." "Have you heard yourself?" He retorted.

"Oh shut up" I said while going to push him.
He grabbed my arm and we found ourselves face to face inches away.

"God I wanna kiss you Anna." He whispered under his breath.
"W-what?" I say in shock.
*the door gets knocked on*
Brayden jumps up and yells "we're in here!"
A handy man opened the door and asked what happened.
"We got stuck" "what time is it" Brayden asks.
"4:02" the handy man replies.
"Oh yes!" Brayden yells and runs off to practice.

"You ok little lady?"
"Yes sir" I say while getting up confused.

I got my phone from my locker and called my mom. I told her everything that happened and she thought I was at Kates house.

I began to walk home because I told my mom I would and all I could think about was what happened. How can he just run off after saying something so blunt. I had so many confusing thoughts while walking home.

"Hey sweetie! Is everything ok? How'd you get in there? Are you ok?"

"Yes mom. A friend got trapped in there too I'm ok."
"Ok good sweetie."

I went to take a shower. Ï unraveled my long brown hair and got in.
All I could think about while showering is Brayden. He's so confusing.
Does he hate me?
Or does he like me?
Or is he just messing with me?
Just like how he messes with other girls.

I tried going to sleep around 9 but couldn't fall asleep till 12. I was so confused. All I could think about was every question.

The morning came and I put on a billibong shirt with a white skirt and my birks. I curled my hair.

My mom wasn't there because she had to leave early for work. So I ate some toast and Kate's mom picked me up.

Of course I told Kate all about it.
"Anna he so likes you."
"I don't know Kate he might just be messing with me."
"Cmon Anna he was all over you."

We got to school and I was scared to face Brayden.
I got to first period and he acted like nothing had happened. We argued about who has to wipe the board off at the end of class but that's about all the talking we did.

It was lunch time and Brayden had basically ignored me all day.
"He's ignored me all day." I said to kate
"He's just a jerk." Kate said
"Look he's all over brooke" i said while pointing.
"I don't know Anna my boyfriend says he talks about you a lot. Never about those girls." Kate said while looking over at me.
"Yeah right." I retorted.

"Anna! Anna!" A voice said in the distance.
I turned around and saw jack.
"Hey jack!" I said with a smile.
"Are you coming tonight?" He asked me.
"Where?"
"To the fire." He said.
"Oh yeah I was gonna ask you about that" Kate said while remembering.
"Oh hey Kate." Jack said while looking at her quickly and back at Anna.

"Thanks for noticing my existence." Kate said while rolling her eyes.
"So are you coming?" Jack asked again.
"I mean.." I said
"Cmon it'll be fun" jack said while using the begging eyes.

"Yeah cmon Anna I'm going you have to go." Kate begs.
"Fine.." I say
"Yesss" Kate says in excitement.
"See you there Anna." Jack says while walking away smiling.

"He's so into you." Kate says.
"Oh please."

After school kate came over to my house.

"So what are you gonna wear" kate asked while looking at me.
"I don't know. Jeans?" I said
"Ok how about mom jeans and this cute shirt." Kate says while holding up a black off the shoulder crop top with ruffles.
"Fine if it makes you happy." I say while grabbing it and walking away to change.
"Yayyy."

I walked out and Kate said "wow girl you look so good in thattt"
"Thank you katttttte" I said while giving a little spin.
"We have to go." Kate said while walking out.
"What if Brayden is there." I ask
"It'll be fineee." Kate says.

My mon brought us there.
"Have fun and stay safe!" My mom says while driving away.

Me and kate walked around the house to the fire and Ï immediately saw Brayden. And he saw me too. I saw him staring at me while talking to another girl.
"Anna what's upppp you came!" Jack says while running up to me.
"Yeahh." I say while glancing at Brayden and he looks away.
"What's his problem." I whisper to myself.
"Huh?" Jack asks.
"Nothing! I need a drink."
"There's some over her!" He says while taking my hand.

Kate went with her boyfriend to go and sit by the fire.

Me and Jack grabbed a drink and walked over to the fire.
"Dang everyone's making out over here." I said while looking around.
"Can we go over there?" I say while pointing to chairs.
"Sure!" Jack says while getting up.

We went over to the seats by the house and sat down.
"I'll be right back my friends calling me over." Jack said.
"Ok" I said.

I looked down at my phone for a second. And then put it down and saw Brayden walking over to me.

He sat down in the seat next to me.

"What are you doing." I say while not even glancing at him.
"Sitting next you."
"The seats taken." I say
"By me."
"Who do you think you are." I say while finally looking at him.
"What?" He said with a confused face.
"Do you not remember what happened?! I mean how can you say something so blunt and then ignore me." I say in a loud tone.

"I said what was on my mind." He says while looking at me.
"Oh shut up. I'm not just one of your little toys." I said rolling my eyes.

"I know you aren't. I don't actually like my "little toys."
"What's that suppose to mean?" I ask confused.

He got up and said "Jack seems into you."
"Maybe he is it's none of your business." I say.
"It is my business." "You are my business." He said while looking down at me.

"Said who?" I said with attitude.
"Me." He said.
Jack came back as Brayden started walking away.
Brayden looked back as me as he saw Jack sit down by me.
"Sorry it took a second." Jack said.
"It's ok." I said.
We talked for a little while longer.

"I'm gonna use the bathroom" I say while getting up.
"Ok I'll be here or maybe over there"

I walked into the house and found the bathroom.
I was washing my hands and I heard a knock on the door.
