Y/N had been looking forward to a night out with her friends all week. They were going to a new club in town, and she was excited to dance and let loose. But as the night wore on, Y/N lost track of time. She found herself lost in the music and the company of her friends, forgetting about everything else.
When she finally stumbled into her apartment in the early hours of the morning, Y/N was surprised to find Austin waiting for her. He was sitting on the couch, looking tired and upset.
"Where have you been?" he asked, his voice tinged with worry.
Y/N felt guilty as she realized how worried Austin must have been. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize how late it was getting."
Austin stood up, his eyes searching her face. "Are you okay? Did anything happen?"
Y/N shook her head, feeling overwhelmed by his concern. "No, everything's fine. We just lost track of time."
Austin's expression softened as he reached out to touch her arm. "I was worried about you," he said, his voice gentle.
Y/N felt a pang of guilt as she realized how much she had taken Austin for granted. He had always been there for her, through thick and thin, and she had never appreciated it as much as she should have.
"I'm sorry," she said, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "I shouldn't have stayed out so late."
Austin pulled her into a hug, his arms warm and comforting. "It's okay," he said. "I just want you to be safe
