~ Things to Keep in Mind ~

Before reading Dieu-le-Veut there's a few things I'd like for you to keep in mind about the reader. I want to make this book as accessible to everyone as possible, but of course I'm taking some creative liberties when writing since I have a narrative in my head that I wish to get across properly.

I will make a small checklist of things to remember, and go into a little bit of detail about them here. It's pretty important, but honestly not necessary to read if you just wanna jump into the story. Everything stated here will be restated as the story progresses, this is just to avoid confusion! Without any further ado;

1) Y/n does not have a pale complexion. This doesn't outright mean dark skin, which of course she would have if you or your character has dark skin. But I mean that, if you're character is very pale they're at the very least tanned now. This will be explained as them spending a lot of time in the sun. And their hair is at least wavy, but definitely not pain straight. It's very important for some later plots of the story!

2) Y/n is Japanese-Puerto Rican. This is a bit of a personal thing (Puerto Rican here lol), but also so that I can explore some plots about being mixed in Japan.

3) Y/n is gender-fluid, which they will discover over the course of this story. Y/n will eventually begin to use all pronouns, and mainly they-them pronouns. But as the story starts she will strictly use she/her pronouns.

4) Y/n has five little sisters. I won't jump into her backstory here, since I want to explain that as the story goes hehe. But it's very important to keep in mind that Y/n is the oldest of 5 little sisters, in order here are Yumeko (16 | Reader's twin), Naoko (14), Meiko (14), Hanako (12), Shoko (12). Their name's will be explained later. Y/n's mom had 3 sets of twins... Poor mom :(

5) Y/n is abnormally strong. Physical strength I mean, she was always had incredible physical strength. The rest of her body can't always keep up with it, so she might often get winded at the start since she hasn't trained her body yet. But she's incredible at physical sports, like baseball, volleyball, and she enjoys doing things like parkour and gymnastics (not on a professional level). She shows an excelled level of abnormal skill in physical activities.

6) And lastly, Y/n has the ability to look into someone's eye and see their true intention. She has a front seat view into people's souls through their eyes, which is an ability she has had just about her entire life. She will use this ability very often, especially when meeting new people or testing to see if someone's telling the truth. She kind of subconsciously uses it too after having the ability for so many years. It might be a bit confusing at first, but it will be explained later in the story! :D

I'm so excited to continue writing, and I hope that you'll enjoy every chapter made from here on out.
