DOLL
After I came out of the comfort room, I headed out without waiting for Illumi.
I went around the mall in circles, in search of the arcade where I can dump my thoughts.
I am stressed, and I need something that would be enough to divert my attention to something else.
"Where's that damn arcade?" I asked myself, annoyed.
Just when I was about to ask the guard where the arcade is, I already saw the massive glowing banner that says ARCADE in it. For a bit, my mood softened as I jogged up the escalator.
It was above me earlier, that's why I couldn't see it. And to my shock, this entire floor is designated only for the Arcade! My eyes quickly scanned everything, looking for something that I'd want to do first.
Dance? or play?
"Alright. I can decide those things after I buy the arcade card. Surely, I can't do all those if I don't have the thing to activate the machines I'm going for," I murmured as I stood in front of the counter.
"Good morning, ma'am!" the cashier greeted and I smiled in return. "Here are our arcade cards..."
She started talking and I listened even if I was already bored. Jesus, I need all the distractions that would come my way so this should be a nice headstart.
In the end, I bought the one that they highly recommended with a very reasonable discount because of my Hunter's license.
Of course, I am a Hunter myself.
Sighing, I headed straight for the dancing arena. It wasn't the typical dancing revolution machine that you see on arcades. Here, their dancing arenas are like perfect rooms for people like me, who prefer to dance on their own without following some silly steps that was being displayed on the screen. It's like renting a room with enough space for the dancer and a comforting mirror in the front to see her reflection.
At the upper corners of the room, there are two speakers which also made me smile. Aside from the information that every 'dancing arena' room is a soundproof room, they had every basic thing a dancer would need.
Speakers, space, and the most important thing, a big mirror...
"Hmm, this place is nice. Maybe I should come back here from time to time to relieve some stress," I uttered, looking for my playlist as I set up the speakers' volume to max.
Once I have chosen the perfect playlist of songs, I connected my phone to the Bluetooth speakers and blasted the song inside the room. Upon hearing the slow rhythm of the beat, my body moved on its own.
Do you have something to say
'Cause the feelings
In my mind cannot escapeWould you ever take me
'Cause my heart is all I carry
The feelings in my mind
I cannot explain..."Shit! Did I choose the wrong song?" I furrowed my brows but kept dancing to MISO's Take Me.
Far away there's places to see
All the worries
And the lies cannot see me
Could you ever take me
'Cause my heart is all I carry
The feelings in my mind
I cannot explain
Maybe we need some time
To mend this broken trust
I don't want this to end
And fade to dust
Baby, we need some time
To mend this broken trust
I really want us
To start up this trust.
