3rd Person POV:
KAVEH JUST FINISHED HIS WORK. Standing up from his desk, as he muttered curses to himself for the overload of work. He exhaled a soft yawn before slowly exiting his own workspace. Boredly walking out of the doors. His light footsteps, softly echoing through the dark hallways of the Akademiya. The large wooden doors, making a loud cranking noise as he pushes open the doors.
To be met with the defeaning sound of the rain. He muttered some modern-fashioned curses under his breath, getting out of the building. The rain was making some loud pitter-patter noises. The splaterring noises of his footsteps echoing through the deafening environment around him. As he was walking to his own house-..or the correct way to say it- would be their house. His eyes darted onto a specific someone in the rain. He squinted his eyes not being able to pin-point who that person was..
There he saw the person's half-sided cape slowly coming down from his shoulder's to his waist-the cape itself and his whole entire clothing drenched in rain. His well-built body being seemingly visible through his wet clothes.
That person was staring down at the raindrops harshly coming down from the sky to the ground. He was seemingly-no probably zoned out.
After Kaveh was finally able to pin-point who that 'specific person' was. There it hit him. He was Sumeru's overly popular Grand Sage. As the whole Sumeru would treat him with respect, as the people would bow their head upon meeting him. To show it as a matter of gratitude or-respect as people say. But, for Kaveh's case it was different-.
The man was his room-mate even before, Becoming the Grand Sage-who he pretty much 'hated'. Like he would never treat him with respect-more importantly, They would yell at eachother almost everyday-And very much often got into fights. Which would on the outside, make them look-like a married couple arguing who were married for over 10 years. The traveller also once exclaimed- them as 'married' or 'dating' or whatever comes to your mind.
He sighed abruptly, not knowing what to do. The sounds-,The sound of the rain and the space between him and Alhaitham were so deafening. It was as if the world had stopped.
SUDDENLY, before Kaveh could react ; "Haitha-!" He shouted. "No,No. No,NO,NO!This can't be Happening!." kaveh was on the verge of tears, the shock still not overcoming him. His knees started to feel lump, as he fell down on the ground on his knees. Crying his heart out as the sky also repayed his price-. Crying loudly with him, so loudly that it could break one's ears.
The scene was playing in front of his eyes. He closed his eyes hoping the scene would vanish. But, to no avail, it kept playing in his mind repeatedly.
JUST THEN, He woke up suddenly jolting up in an up-right position, with tears in his eyes. He started ruffling his hair like a crazy person ; almost ripping his hair out in the process, while his eyes started darting on to the most random things in the room. Mehrak sleeping on a chair ; the ceiling fan ; his art supplies ; the unfinished building sketches that had yet to be finished ;.
Were all scaterred around the room. "No! no! stop! stop replaying in my fucking head!" he yelled remembering the scene.
TWO BULLETS, two bullets, darted through alhaitham's forehead, and beneath his left collarbone. Into his heart, which was beating rapidly.
Suddenly, a loud thunder roared across the sky making Kaveh jump and come back to Tevyat. Its the same as the dream.
