"Fifty points from Hufflepuff."

"What for?!"

"For nearly blowing up the classroom, Miss (L/n)."

"Oh, come on, it wasn't that bad! I just accidentally stired the potions an extra time and created a reaction between ingredients that would bubble up and explode, thus putting our lives at risk." She replied.

Snape raised an eyebrow at the girl who was now giving her usual cheeky smile.

"Okay, maybe it was that bad." She finally admitted.

Snape's blood was boiling at this point. She was just as troublesome as the Weasley twins. Heck, she was probably worse.

"Diggory, please mind your partner before we all die from her shenanigans." Snape simply muttered to the boy next to (Y/n).

"Will do, Professor. Sorry-" Cedric replied. "-again."

"Come on, Ced! At least we're alive!" She joked playfully.

Cedric gave a light sigh and started cleaning up after his partner.

"How weren't you sorted into Gryffindor or something." He muttered silently.

"I know I'm brave, thanks, Ced." (Y/n) replied, no shame in her voice whatsoever.

"Help me clean up, will you?"

"Oops, sorry."

The brunette shook his head lightly and gave a long, weak sigh.

Why was he friends with her, even he didn't know.

-----

"(Y/n). You need to stop messing around! Especially in potions."

"But Ced-"

"No buts. (Y/n) you failed your N.E.W.T.s last year, I'm not letting you risk this again."

"Then just tutor me!"

"I can't!"

"Why not?"

Cedric looked into those shimmering (e/c) eyes of hers, feeling completely useless.

"I'm barely passing Charms. I also need to study harder and focus on myself."

The girl gave a long sigh.

"Fine. I'll go ask Fred or George."

Cedric's face twitched at the name.

"You know those two are up to no good." He muttered.

"You're just being stubborn. They're really nice once you get to know them."

"I'm sure they are."

-----

It was yet another Wednesday.

Also known as 'Boardgame Night' for (Y/n) and her Gryffindor friends.

She was at the Gryffindor common room, sitting on the floor playing with the Gryffindors.

"Say, could one of you guys tutor me?" (Y/n) questioned the twins.

"Sorry (Y/n), can't."

"We're busy with plans for our joke shop."

"Ah.. I see. No worries!"

Now what. She was doomed for sure!

(Y/n) was starting to lose hope. Every single friend she asked was too focused on themselves or busy doing something else.

She had no clue what to do anymore.

-----

"Ced, could you pass me the wormwood?"

"Wormwood? We don't need wormwood (Y/n)."

The girl paused.

"No, it says right here. Look." She pointed to the instructions of the book.

"(Y/n).. that's the wrong page.."

"Oops-" The girl muttered.

"Just exactly what have you added to the potion..?"

"A spider's eye, dragon's blood and-"

"(Y/n).. look."

She turned to look at the cauldron, now filled with a burbling purple liquid.

"That isn't what it's supposed to do.. is it."

"Nope." Cedric replied, giving a sigh.

And with that, it exploded.

"(L/n)! Detention at 8o'clock!"

"Yes, Professor.." She sighed.

-----

After a long day of work, (Y/n) finally found herself walking down the staircase to Professor Snape's office.

She gave a light knock and waited for a response.

"Good evening, Professor."

"You're late, (L/n)."

"Only by 53 seconds." She taunted.

"You think you're a funny one, don't you." Snape said, closing the door as (Y/n) walked into his office.

"Yeah, I do."

He rolled his eyes as he watched the girl explore his office.

"Nice room, Professor."

"Don't. Touch. Anything." He warned.

"Will do."

Snape started looking around his office as he finally spotted the door in the corner of his room.

"Tidy my storage for me." He said, finally sitting down at his work desk.

"And don't-"

"I know, I know." She mocked.

She then proceeded to open the storge closet and stand still.

"Well? What are you waiting for?" Snape questioned, putting down his quill.

"You said not to touch anything."

"(L/n)!"

The girl laughed hysterically and finally walked inside the storage room to start detention.

It was always fun messing with teachers, especially Snape.

He was.. easily angered. And that just made it more enjoyable for her.
