Trevor Matthews up top
"Again!" Talon bellowed. Arms crossed he watched me punch the punching bag again. Satisfaction filled me, it budged only an inch, but he quickly squandered that. "Again, Eve this time do it the way I taught you!"
I punched it again, this time, aggressively; He was starting to piss me off. We had been at this for hours and he was being to hard on me, I was only trying my best. It swung in the air, I smiled. My happy expression darkened when he was suddenly beside me.
He put his hands on my waist and I felt his body press into mine. "Spread your feet apart, so that they mirror your shoulders." His hands spread my thighs and I spread my feet apart. His hands stayed there a minute longer, before wrapping around my waist. I held my breath at the close contact, and he placed a hand to my chest. "Never stop breathing, if your opponent throws a punch at your stomach, they'll literally knock the breath out of you and get the upper hand." I took deep breaths, his hand rose and fell on my chest as I inhaled and exhaled.
I leaned forward, my backside to him, and he inhaled sharply. "Don't lean forward." He repositioned me, his hand sliding over my stomach. "Posture should be straight, always."
He hesitated in letting me go, my skin burned from where he once touched. I spread my legs, straightened my posture, and breathed deeply. "Like this?" I asked then sighed in relief as he nodded in approval. I flexed my tight arm and threw a punch. The bag lifted in the air and I quickly stepped out of the way, when it swung back my way. "Try again time use the power of the reaper, I know it boils inside of you." Talon's eyes were fierce.
I became silent, focusing on my body. Raw energy and power ran in my veins to my heart and back. I focused on harnessing that energy, and transferred it to my fist. I punched the bag with everything in me and it flew several yards away from me, landing on the floor with a clang. Talon scooped me up in a hug and I squealed. "What was in that thing, bricks?"
He sat me down with a kiss on the lips. "2,264 pounds of titanium steel weights."
"Ate you serious?" I asked, baffled. How strong was he exactly?
"Yes, what can I say, I like a challenge." He flexed his muscles and I giggled.
"Training over."I took a step back. "Seriously?"
This was not the Talon I knew."Yes, I'm having beers with Luca and Eric later, but I'll make it up to you by treating you to lunch tomorrow." Oh yeah, guy's nights out were like that. They were either at the bar, watching sports or something. "Let me drive you home." He offered, but I declined, explaining that I'd be fine. "At least take the Audi."He insisted, giving me a set of keys.
"I couldn't-"
"My woman will not walk home or catch public transportation like a commoner when she is a queen."My heart melted at my woman and I kissed him goodbye, conjuring up all my strength to leave. The Audi roared to life when I started it and breathed in the new car smell and cranked the radio up, and drove off.
"So Halloween's in three days, our men have left us,so you know what....." Soph dragged.
"Costume shopping!" I finished with mock enthusiasm. Halloween was a full job day for me;It was the only day of the year where the boundaries between Hell were broken for that day and evil was unleashed upon Earth. Every few years few lost souls escape out of Hell. So yeah call me sheriff.
Sophia had called her tailor, Trevor Matthews, to assist in creating our costumes.
The doorbell rang and the brown haired, blue eyed, lanky guy dropped his bags and ran towards us.
