The Thursday before we left, Greyson spent all day with me getting ready for our trip. I had babysat four different times that week and ended up with a few hundred dollars to spend. When Adrian was off of work that evening, the four of us loaded up into my car and began the five-hour drive to the coast. We got to the condo around midnight. We left our bags in the car and chose our bedrooms before falling asleep. The next morning, Mia and I woke up before the boys so we could go to the store to grab food for the weekend. We loaded up on junk food to eat while we were on the beach and good food to eat for dinner. We grabbed a loaf of bread and all the stuff to make sandwiches with and a twelve pack of Dr. Pepper to mix with whiskey.
"Here's some money," I said as I handed Mia twenty dollars that Greyson had given me for food the night before. "You check out and I'm going to go to the liquor store next door to grab some stuff for us."
Mia smiled and took the money. I grabbed two twelve packs of beer, a small handle of whiskey and $20 worth of $1 shots. When I was done checking out, I met Mia back at the car.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Ready!" She chirped.
Once we were back to the condo, we made a snack bag to take with us down to the beach. It had four mini bags of chips, a bag of beef jerky, a handful of Sweetcakes, and a handful of candy. I dropped eight of the small shot bottles into the bag. When we were done, we wrote a small note to the boys who were still asleep before heading out to the beach.
We're on the beach. There's food here now. Eat before you come but we have snacks. Don't forget sunscreen.
p.s. bring us both a drink either in a cup or just pour some soda out of a can and pour in some Blazeball. There's other mixers in the fridge.

"Good?" I asked, showing Mia the note.
"Good."
We changed quickly and quietly and made sure to not wake up the boys. We grabbed beach towels from the linen closet and made our way to the beach. On the beach, Mia and I chose secluded a spot away from everyone else. Within ten minutes my phone was ringing.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Where are you guys?" Greyson asked from the other end.
"Did you not see the note? We're on the beach."
"Yeah, we saw the note. We're about to be out there but we don't see you."
I turned around to look for Greyson and Adrian in the crowds of people.
"I see you," I said finally spotting them a few yards away. "Walk closer to the dunes instead of the water."
The boys finally reached us. They were both carrying steel cups filled with our drinks. Greyson handed me the one in his hand and Adrian handed the one he had made to Mia.
"There, ya alcoholics," Greyson laughed while he spread out his towel.
"Thank you!" Mia and I sang.
Greyson took a seat by me in the sand and looked me up and down with a grimace.
"What?" I asked stunned by his glare.
"You're so white!" He laughed.
"Well, yeah. I thought that was pretty obvious." I had been the same shade of pale white since we had met.
Greyson cleared his throat and pulled his eyes away from me.
"Weirdo," I laughed.
The four of us laid in the sun for a few hours. Every now and then we would run to the ocean to cool off. Later in the afternoon, Greyson and Adrian threw a frisbee they had brought while Mia and I watched and drank. Once the sun began to set, the four of us made our way back to the condo. Greyson and I set out cups for beer pong while Adrian and Mia disappeared into their shared room.
