A power revealed

*One week later*

    Candice had been right. People had known about (Y/n)'s entrance into the tournament not even a full 24 hours after the deal had been made. As the young woman stood in the waiting area she had been assigned, waiting for her match to start, she became worried. Apparently they liked to keep who you'd be fighting a secret until your match was announced. She wanted to leave so badly but as the fear reached its peak a quote made it's way through to the surface.

    "Don't let your opponent see your fear. Calm down because your opponent could use that fear against you." The quote had come from Shanks and she knew that he was right. It would be no use for her to be scared so she took deep breaths trying to calm her speeding heart. A voice rang out over the intercom a moment later. "Welcome to this months tournament folks! The new girl is competing so good luck to her now let's get started with the first match of the day: Zoro from the straw hats VS Killer from Kid's crew!"

    Within the fist few moments of the fight you were shocked. They both looked incredibly strong and it also looked as if they were holding back. (Y/n) was becoming nervous again and started calming herself until eventually her match was called. "Our next match is (Y/n) from White wall VS Sabo from the Revolutionaries!" (Y/n) tensed. That was the name of the boy Lizzy had sparred with on (Y/n)'s first official day. When (Y/n) arrived at the entrance she noticed a boy with blonde, shoulder length hair walk into the fighting area at the same time as herself.

    When the bell rung, signaling the beginning of the match, the girl immediately charged at the boy who put his arm up just in lime to block a kick aimed at his head. He staggered a bit from the force as (Y/n) jumped back a bit, making sure to keep a safe distance so she could attack quickly and escape even quicker if need be. She didn't him to rush her and send several punches her way, but he did. They were forceful, almost completely knocking her into a corner as she took the barrage. What he did next was unexpected. His hand caught fire and he punched the girl's arm, leaving a singed area where his fist had connected.

    The girl gasped at the heat. She shook her arm as she kicked the boy away to buy time. 'If that's how it's gonna be then let's go.' She thought. Her movements became faster as did Sabo's. The two fought for what felt like forever before Sabo grabbed (Y/n) throwing her up slightly and then kicking her in the stomach, sending her flying. As the (h/c) haired girl fell she pleaded for her powers to activate and just as she thought she was a goner he body her body jerked to a stop. Everyone gasped as (Y/n) turned her head to see large white angle wings glittering in the bright sunlight that was allowed to enter through the open roof of the arena.

    She smirked, looking around to see everyone gaping at what had happened, even her opponent, who seemed to be the most surprised. The now winged girl flew down and kicked the boy in the gut sending him flying into the wall and knocking him out. Everyone cheered as the girl was declared the winner and soon she was  bombarded with words of congratulations from her friends. They then took her to the back to get her arm checked as the second round got under way.
