One Piece x Reader AU/Modern

Entering new territory

   Throughout third period (Y/n) was forced to work with Kid, though she feared for her life every time she had to ask him for reasons why something did what it did. He gave her such harsh glares that could shatter a mirror before he even had a straight shot at it.

When the bell rang, signaling the end of the period, (Y/n) quickly made her way out of the classroom and to her fourth and fifth period's classroom. As the time went on in class (Y/n) realized that she had no clue as to the whereabouts of the Heart crew's house. It also didn't help that her partner still wasn't in class to distract her.

As the period ended Cherri grabbed the girl and began to walk out of the class building.

"Hey Cherri, do you know where the Heart's house is?" Cherri nodded and began to show the girl to where she would be working, though she didn't speak at all, which greatly concerned (Y/n). "Cherri, are you ok? You're unusually quiet." Said girl stopped in her spot and looked at (Y/n).

"Yeah. I've just been thinking about our repayment to Doflamingo. He never told us how long we would be doing this for." This caught (Y/n) by surprise and as the two girls started to continue on their way (Y/n) began thinking. Would they work until they thought that the debt was paid off or would they be told when they could stop. "Well we're here." The sudden noise startled (Y/n) and she looked up to see a fairly large house, considerably larger than theirs anyway.

"Holy crap it's huge!" Cherri nodded.

'Yeah. It's one of the newest houses. It has an underground area as well." (Y/n) looked at Cherri in disbelief and just as she was about to say something else the front door opened, revealing Law, and three other people who were standing him trying to be sneaky though they were failing at it horribly.

"Hello (Y/n)-ya."

"Um. Hello Law I'm here-"

"I know why you're here. Come in and I'll get you started."
