Everyone sat around the table talking amongst themselves. Even Marco, Ace and Thatch were enjoying talking to the girls who had recently wanted to kill them. (Y/n) took a look at everyone and smiled, seeing their peaceful chatter made her happy. Even Lizzy had seemed to visibly calm down as the evening continued. It was a complete turnaround from what had been going on recently.
As the final part of the feast began (A huge array of different desserts) something seemed off to the (h/c)ette. She leaned over to the person sitting on her immediate right, which happened to be Luffy, and tapped him on the shoulder. Luffy stopped for a moment, the fork he'd been holding covered in cake stopping halfway to his mouth, and he looked over to the girl with an innocent face. "Luffy has something like this ever happened before? I mean a feast after a newbie like me has won the tournament?" Luffy shoved the cake covered fork into his mouth and thought for a bit before answering, mouth still slightly full of cake.
"Not that I know." The girl furrowed her eyebrows and allowed Luffy to continue stuffing his face with cake. This made her concerned. What if the guards turned on them and attacked. (Y/n) didn't like that idea and knew that the odds wouldn't be in her favor.
*Timeskip to after the finished feast*
The night had gone without a hitch, which pleased the girls. As the made their way home a sudden noise caught their attention. Each girl turned a different way to see if anyone was following them but they saw nothing, that is until Allison took a better look at the tree line did she notice something.
"Hey, guys. Look over there." She then pointed to a large creature. They all turned to see the creature, who also looked at them in return, before standing on it's hind legs, pointing its snout towards the sky and howling for a few second then running off. The group was startled and ran the rest of the way back to their house. Once inside each girl ran to make sure everything that could be locked was locked before grabbing some pillows and blankets and huddling in the living room.
"What the fuck was that?" asked Allison.
