Observations

You & Petra separated as she said she'd like to visit Miche & sit with him. You knew why she was doing that. You recall that day & you understood how Miche feels right now as he is the second strongest male scout next to Levi. He is a Section Commander, like Hange & he is one of your favorite sparring partners as you're someone who can go toe to toe against him. Hell, you even came close to beating Levi a few times during your sparring sessions, which was how you gained his respect. His strength & determination is strong. That's why Erwin is taking the Beast Titan seriously because it had shaken Miche to the point that he would wake up screaming in the middle of the night. A Titan who can speak? No wonder Hange is exhilarated & adamant of capturing it.

You were walking in silence as you recalled Petra's silly observation. 'Levi staring at me? That's absurd,' you scoffed inwardly, 'There's no reason for him to stare. It was just a coincidence.' You reasoned & convinced yourself.

But little did you know, it wasn't.

Levi walked in silence with a very talkative Hange. He's used to it. There's no way to stop her from babbling & rambling something. So he just kept silent.

"Ne, Levi," she called his attention, "When will you tell Laney that you like her?" She asked innocently.

If looks could kill, Hange would have been dead by now.

"What?" Hange asked innocently, "I was just asking. I mean it's obvious because of the way you were looking at her."

Levi shot another glare at the woman, "I don't look at her differently, baka. You're imagining things. You have always been that crazy."

Hange only laughed at Levi's defensive response. His mocking or insults don't really affect her at all. The fact that he's glaring & mocking her means that she has hit a sensitive nerve.

"I'm just stating an observation, Shorty," she said nonchalantly.

"I swear, Hange," Levi warned, "One more word," he hissed but Hange paid no mind.

"Levi, if you don't like her, why are you reacting this much? You didn't even bat an eye when there were rumors of you & Erwin dating," Hange did hit bull's eye.

"Drop. It," Levi hissed, glaring dangerously at Hange.

"Fine, I will," She smiled, "For now."

Levi tch-ed at the woman. He doesn't like Laney Brooks. She's his Vice Captain. It's just that, lately, they have been spending a lot of time together with planning the missions & all. Then his squad was almost wiped out, save for Petra, Eren & Laney. So as a responsible & good Captain that he is, plus knowing what it's like to lose important people, he just wanted to look out for her.

'But you weren't exactly doing the same thing for Petra, were you Levi?' a voice in his mind said.

He ignored his thoughts & went inside Erwin's office.

He sat down & listened to Erwin as he discussed various strategies to kill the Beast Titan, Colossal Titan & Armored Titan.

Arguments arose here & there. Honestly, he just wanted to get it over with.

"Erwin," he spoke in a low, annoyed tone, "The Garrison had rounded up the walls multiple times. Sending our men, with our dwindling numbers, would be futile & a shitty waste of time. If anything, I would consider checking the walls. I'm not going to be surprised if we find the traitors inside," remembering the day that they found out that the walls are made up of dormant Colossal Titans.
