When Eva and I made it to Orion, we were elated. We set our stuff in our rooms, but couldn’t find anyone, not even Trinity. We checked everywhere, but no one was to be found. “Where do you think everyone went?”

                 I shrugged, “Movies?”

She laughed. “I brought the Twilight movies, so we can show Max and Niko.” We started laughing at the possible arguments between the two. The main doors closed not so quietly.

We ran to the door and found Gabriel and Becca with worried looks on their faces. “Hello Gabriel, Becca.”

Becca hugged us, as I asked, “So where is everyone?”

She smiled warmly, “The children are out in the town.”

“Where’s Trinity?” She frowned and looked at Gabriel.

He stepped forward, “Trinity has disappeared. We can’t find her, and we don’t know whether she’ll be back anytime soon, or not at all.” This made us sad, she’s gone, just like that?

We decided to let them go about their business and look for Niko and Max. Eva and I grabbed our brooms and headed out. We separated because Niko and Max were so different so they would be in different areas. I knew exactly where to find Max. He’d be near or in the woods next to a large restaurant where he told me all the wolves liked to eat. I landed not so gracefully, and ran to the door. It was heavy but I managed to get it open on my own. There were a lot of adults in there eating, talking, eating, grunting, eating, and growling. I found Max with Emanuel and Ashton eating a turkey each. I giggled as I crept behind Max. I kissed him on the neck and he got up growling and ready to fight.

He saw me and smiled that beautifully innocent smile. He hugged me so hard I had to tell him to stop. “Aw lookie here, Maxi boy gots emself a girl!” A burly looking man slurred the words together. The men started laughing.

                “Don’t worry about them.”

I sat next to him, “You all sure do eat a lot.”

“Yeah we know.” Emanuel said with a mouth full of food.

                “So little girl what’re yuh?”

I raised a brow, “Excuse me but could you speak proper English?”

He looked at my broom, “Ah! So yuhr a witch, are yuh?”

I cocked my head to the side unconsciously, “Yes.”

Max was staring at the man, his food forgotten. “Riff, do you have a problem with her?”

Riff slammed his meaty hand on the table, “I got a problem wiff dem witches that think they run the place! Now why don’t yuh get yuhr little witch ass outta here.” He grabbed my arm, I was going to flip him but Max attacked in full wolf form.

The crowd started to disperse as they broke through a wall. Riff was a great deal bigger than Max, but Max was quicker. He dodged most of Riff’s attacks but got caught a couple of times. I always thought it would be fun to watch a real werewolf fight but this was killing me inside. I wanted to actually cry. I could even hear it in my voice. “Max no!” Riff clawed his chest. Seeing the blood made me angry. I took out my wand, “This last move shall be their last, lift them high so no one has to die.” The spell worked and soon Riff and Max were just floating in the air. The other people were gasping. Max was still growling.
