Ever since she threw Kyle out of Orion, Marcy’s been pacing and going on and on about how stupid Emily was for bringing him here. She went on in English, French, and some other language I couldn’t depict. Niko, Max and I just sat and listened. “That was the most idiotic thing anyone could ever do! Ugh!” She started pacing again, “What if he got killed? Eh? What if Niko lost control and drank him dry? Was she even thinking?”She sighed and sat heavily. Marcy took out her wand, and kept trying some spell without using words. It finally worked and Lux appeared through a hole in her undies.
I covered Max, and Niko’s eyes. “Girl, get some clothes on!”
Lux screamed, “Don’t do that!”
There was a knock on her room door, “Lux is everything alright?” Her mother asked.
“I’m fine mom.” She put on shorts and a tank top. I let Max and Niko go. “Hi everyone. Marcy don’t do that in the morning!”
Marcy laughed, “I have to tell you about what Emily did, and about everything that’s going on here.”
For the next hour, Marcy and I told her about the things that happened here in Orion. Her jaw went slack as we told her about Emily’s endeavors.
“Can you believe her?” Marcy asked.
“What did you do about it?” Lux questioned.
Marcy smirked, “I threw that asshole out of here! He’s not and I mean N-O-T ruining everything.”
Lux smiled at Marcy, “That’s just like you, sticking up for what you truly believe.”
“Damn straight!” She sure is swearing a lot today. I sighed and leaned against Niko’s strong frame. He wrapped an arm around me and started playing with my hair.
“Marcy, Lux, please calm down. There is no need to get so worked up over something like this. The problem has been dealt with, now, what are we going to do about Trinity?” I said solemnly.
“Look for her, duh!” Marcy still hadn’t quieted down, so I sighed my defeat. Max was being awfully quiet. His eyes were pitch black; I sat up and began to stare at him. I tapped Marcy and pointed.
A worried expression cascaded her face. “Max? What wrong?” At her voice, he growled. “Max?” She put her hand on his shoulder, snapping him out of his trance.
His eyes regain their color but he still wouldn’t look at her, or anyone for that matter. “There are witches headed this way. Bad witches.” Marcy asked Lux to get here as soon as she could, and she agreed.

Max said the witches were here, so we went the front door and found Becca and Gabriel talking to a man with two girls standing behind him. “Is it true that Trinity has gone missing?” The man asked. Becca crossed her arms and growled. “I’m going to take that as yes in mutt.”
She growled some more and Gabriel stepped in front of her, “Yes she is, but what does that have to do with you?”
He chuckled deeply, “Since Trinity has no children to take her place, and it is only customary that my children and I step in to guard the portal.”
