Jay's POV:
My alarm clock goes off. "Ugh, 7 already?" I mumble as I hit the snooze button. I look at my phone. It's Friday, thank god. I don't think I can handle another day of school. I thought to myself. I get up and walk to my closet to pick out my clothes for the day. I grab a dark blue tee shirt and black jeans. I get dressed and my alarm goes off again. I press the button to stop the alarm. I put my socks and shoes on and grabs my airpods. Airpods, home keys, pencil, phone. Okay, I have everything. I leave the house and begin to walk to my bus stop. When I get to the bus stop, I see Zane there waiting for the bus too. "Hey Zane!" I say to him. "Hello Jay," Zane says, "how are you this morning?" Zane is wearing a white collar shirt with a blue sweater vest on top with black jeans. He looks cute. "I'm great," I told him, "how about you?" I look at him. His sparkling blue eyes look at me in such a kind way. "I'm good." Zane says, "Jay, would you want to hangout after school today?" I can feel my cheeks turn a light shade of pink. His light blue eyes glaring at me, waiting for my answer. I snap out of my trance. "Yes! I would love to!" I tell Zane. Zane's smile grew when i said that. His face turns a light shade of pink. Was he..blushing? Did he like me back? Even if he did, we can't date. We both have girlfriends. "Great! I can't wait." Zane said. He seemed very excited. Before I could say anything in response, the bus is here. I get in and walk to the back of the bus to sit with Nya, my girlfriend. "Good morning, Jay!" says Nya. "Good morning, Nya." I say. My other friends, Kai, Cole, Lloyd, and Pixal are here too. I take my airpods out of my pocket and put one in my ear. The other I give to Nya. I start to play my favorite song, K. by Cigarettes after Sex. Nya looks at me and give me a kiss on the cheek. "I love you," Nya tells me. "I love you too," I say to her. Nya and I have been going out since the end of last year. She was in 8th grade and I was in 9th. We met on the bus. She confessed first and it just went from there. Nya's great and all but as you know, I've Zane since I met him. I'm bisexual with a preference for men and everyone knows this, including Nya. Lately I've been feeling differently towards her. I feel like I just want to be her friend. I have a feeling shes hiding something from me too. She's been pretty distant but hey, what do I know? Maybe I'll find out more at school!
