Chapter 12: The Break up

Time Skip

Jay's POV:

Sage moved me to somewhere else. I think it's because the others found out where I was...well, I don't think that. I know it. Nya and Pixal must have told her. I wonder how guilty Nya and Pixal feel. Knowing that they will be kicked off the team, knowing that they will go to prison, knowing that everyone will hate them.

I was cut out of thought when Sage walked into the room. I have learned to deal with her bullshit and just pretend that I like her and that I want to say here. Trust me, it helps me survive a lot more than you would think. "Hey Jayyy!!!" exclaimed Sage. Sage walks toward me. "Hi Sage! How are you?" I asked. Sage smiles and grabs my hand. "I'm feeling pretty good, how about you?" she said politely. See? I won't lie, I hate Sage with a burning passion. It's not she weird or annoying, it's just if she really wanted to be with me, why didn't she just build up a relationship with me and not kidnap me? She would be my type if she hadn't kidnapped me twice. "I'm good," I said, "What's for breakfast?" I'm so hungry. I'm being starved like I was in the first relam, even though I wasn't being starved there, I had no food and it's just like that. "You don't get breakfest today. Remember what happened last night?" she said grabbing my chin and making me look at her. I forgot about that.

Last night, I had tried to leave where I am being held. Sage caught me. I was so close to escaping. I pretended like I was just getting water but it didn't quite work. She knew what I was attempting so here I am, starving. I hope the others find me soon.

Cole's POV:

"Man, I miss Jay." I say. Lloyd looks at me. "I know, but we'll get him back soon. I promise." he says smiling at me. I kiss Lloyd on the forehead. "Thank you, Lloyd." I said. Lloyd looked a bit uncomfortable. Did I make him uncomfortable by doing that? "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." I said quietly. "No no no, it's not you, it's me," says Lloyd, "Look, Cole, you're a great guy but I just don't think we're gonna work out. I'm so sorry." I look at him shocked. I back away a for him a bit. "W-what do you mean? I thought you loved me..." I said. There's no way. He just had said 'I love you' to me this morning! "I know, and for that, I'm sorry. You're a great guy but I just realized I like someone else that isn't you." Lloyd reassured. "Oh okay, I understand. I'll leave. Good luck with whoever they may be." I said putting on a fake smile. I get up and open the door. "Than-" I shut the door, interrupting Lloyd. I walked into my room and locked the door. I lay in my bed and turn my LEDs to green. I read online that green LEDs prevent headaches and I could get one if I bawl my eyes out for too long.

Meanwhile...

Nya's POV:

I see Cole walk into his room and slam his door. I walk over to his door and listen in for a few moments. He turns on the song Sarah by Alex G. I may be helping Sage but that doesn't mean I'm a monster. I knock on his door. "Hey Cole, it's Nya. Can I come in?" I ask. I wait for a response. Cole opens the door. "Come in." he says. Was he..crying? What happened? I walk in and sit on his bed. Cole shuts the door and sits down next to me. "Are you okay? Did something happen?" I ask softly. I feel so bad. What do I do? "Lloyd...he.." Cole had tears in his eyes. "He broke up with me." he finished. I look at him shocked. I didn't know Cole was gay. "I'm so sorry Cole," I said hugging him, "Everything's going to be okay. I promise." Cole hugs back and starts to cry. Cole didn't deserve that. I pull away from the hug. "Do you mind telling what happened between you and Lloyd?" I ask him still holding onto his shoulders. Cole nods his head. I let go of his shoulders.

After Cole explained to Nya

Cole's POV:

Nya looked at me with worry in her eyes. "I'm so sorry, Cole. You will find someone who will love you. Trust me. He's just trying to do what's best for the both of you." she explained. I close my eyes and think of the times Lloyd and I spent together. I take a deep breath and open my eyes. "Thank you, Nya. You're words have helped me." I said hugging her again. "Of course, it's what friends are for, right?" she said hugging back. "Right." I replied. "Now c'mon! Let's get you out of your room and do something with the others!" Nya said trying to pull me out of my room. I laughed. "Okay, let's go annoy Kai." I said opening my door. Nya laughed and ran down the hallway.

Lloyd's POV:

I feel terrible. I know Cole's upset but I can't be with him if I like someone else. I mean, she's amazing. Her and I have a lot in common too. She just gets me..you know? I sign and get out of my bed. I look at the mirror on my wall. I look at myself and decide that I should fix my hair. I take the brush off of my dresser and start brushing my hair. Knock knock! "Come in!" I say to the person behind the door. Quinn walks in and shuts the door behind her. "Oh, hey Quinn," I said still brushing my hair, "What's up?" Quinn comes and stands next to me. She looks at me in the mirror. "What happened with you and Cole? I heard you guys broke up." She said. I stop brushing my hair and look at her. I sigh. "Well, I told him that I liked someone else that wasn't him. I just didn't think him and I were gonna work out." I told her. Quinn hugs me. I hug back. "Who do you like?" she asked. I blush slightly and pulling out of the hug. "I'll tell you later. Right now, let's just spend time together." I said smiling. I still had my hands on her shoulders. "Okay, yeah! That's fine!" she said. Quinn's face lit up with excitement. "Oh Lloyd!!! Let's play Roblox together!" she said. I laughed and sat down on my bed. "Yeah sure! You pick the game." I said. She's so pretty. Quinn and I played "DONT GET SNIFFED" for a while. "Ha! I finished that game!" I said loudly to her. She looked at me in shock. "WHAT? HOW? I literally have no idea where to use the purple key!" she exclaimed. I laughed. "Here, I'll show you." I say. I get closer to her and tell her where to go. I see her blush slightly but I ignore it.

Time Skip

Quinn's POV:

"I had fun, let's do this again sometime." I said. Lloyd smiled at me. "I agree. Next time. we should do it with the whole team." He said. I nodded to show that I agree. I hug Lloyd. Lloyd hugs back. "Well, I should go home now. Thank you for having me!" I said. "Of course!" He said Lloyd walks me to the door and I say goodbye to everyone. "Kay, are you coming?" I ask. Kay looks at me. "Yeah! Just let me say goodbye to Cole!" yelled Kay. I look at Lloyd. I hug him. "Thanks again for having me." I said. Lloyd pulls out of the hug and placed his hands on my shoulders. "Anytime. I'll see you guys tomorrow." he says. Kay runs up to me. "Okay, I'm ready." she said. "Bye everyone! Thank you for having us!!" Kay and I said. "Of course," said Zane, "We are expecting to see you guys tomorrow to continue the search for Jay." Kay and I smile at each other. "Wouldn't expect it to be any other way." said Kay. I open the door and Kay and I walk out and get into my car. "Oh my god. Today was total havoc! We know NOTHING." I said covering my face with my hands. Kay sighed. "I know, we just have to hope tomorrow is better." she said. I look at her. "You're right. Tomorrow's a new day. Hopefully we'll find out more then." I said. We drove off, preparing for what tomorrow may bring.

AHHHHH!!!! again i'm sorry i haven't been writing. school just ended for me so i'll be writing more, don't worry. i hope you guys like this story so far! 😋
