If Tony wanted anything more other than to have his best friend back was to be taken back to the night that he and Riff met. If only there was a way for the 18 year old young man to be able to go back in time. If there was, he'd go to the night that he and Riff met. That was all Tony wanted because he knows he can't get Riff back. He just wanted to be able to go back to the night he and Riff met. He still remembered it.The night he met Riff,the start of what was going to be a lifelong friendship between the two boys. He told Tony he was born to die young and he died at 18. Now Tony Wyzek was moruning the loss of his best friend. Tony was devastated by the loss of his best friend,he misses him a lot.
Can't he just go back to the night that he and Riff met? Was that too much to ask for? He certainly didn't think that it was too much to ask for because all he wanted was that since he knows that Riff was not coming back. Without Riff here,take Tony back to the night that he and Riff met since he can't get his best friend back. Even though he did tell Tony he was born to die young,he didn't want that for Riff,he wanted to grow old with his best friend. But Riff had gotten what he said he was born to get: To die young. Tony misses him so much and wanted to go back to the night that he and Riff met since he knows that Riff wasn't coming back ever.
