It Might Have Saved My Best Friend (Tony and Riff)

Introduction

After Riff's death,Tony wonders often about how if Riff had listened to him,things could have been different. If he had listened to Tony,none of this would have happened. If he had listened to Tony, the outcome would not have ended up like this. Things would have happened differently if Riff had listened to Tony and had called off the rumble. If only he listened to Tony.

If he had called off the rumble,things would never have ended up being like this. If the Rumble never happened,it might have saved Tony the heartbreak of losing his best friend Riff. It might have saved him. It breaks his heart  more when he realizes that if the rumble was called off, it could have saved Riff's life. It might have saved Tony's best friend from that fate.
